Do you actually have any evidence that that is not the case?You seem to be under the assumption that when the government went to those private entities, they were simply making friendly suggestions to those entities as to what content should be allowed, and what shouldn't be.

The Social media organisation can decide for themselves what to do. They are not being coerced.

I explained what revenge porn is - it isn't complicated. It is either naked or sexual pictures of someone posted on the internet - which includes Twitter - without the subject's permission. The pictures may have been taken with permission but posted without. I read that many pictures of HB in compromising positions from the supposed laptop or hard drives were posted on Twitter and that the Biden campaign requested that they be removed. It is about the White House having connections with the largest social media company on earth and shaping what is allowed to be posted - having a role in banning thousands of political opponents and even the US's oldest publication - all to protect Joe.
Musk in revealing the actual private communications is quickly becoming hated because there are people who do not like truth spoken to power, when their guy is in power.

In any event, there is a lawsuit against the federal government and Biden administration for colluding with social media companies to censor speech. I'm sure as it progresses, we will learn more.
