The Truth Matters

There is a move inside the Christian Church that is not of God centered on a single verse of scripture, Matthew 7:1. This verse is the first sentence of a complete chapter, it is the first sentence of the first paragraph and is, therefore, the introduction to a core thought but it is not the core verse as the influence of the Lost Man and Woman has driven it to be. The Worldly have used this single verse to close the mouths of the Christian and to, therefore, make them, at the best, Disobedient Servants.

In the context of the chapter we are commanded to, first, clean our own lives up to be pleasing in the sight of God and to, then, judge righteously. In verses 15 through 20 of this chapter we learn the target of the Righteous Man's judgment, what does the tree or the man bare in the way of fruit? As the followers of Jesus, the Christ, we do not have the power nor the right to judge a fellow man's salvation but if we do not judge the fruit of a man, to determine his or her character we are disobedient servants and worse yet, Worldly Fools.

If we take our children to a baby sitter we do not know ad we have not run a Criminal Background Check on we are setting our children up to be abused in manors we would never dream of. Additionally, a good friend of mine and I often greet one another with Honest Bill Taylor, Used Car Salesman. With us this is a standard Joke, flowing both directions but when I was 14 I was trained by a former Air Force Engine Mechanic to work as a mechanic for a Used Car Lot on Jensen Drive in Houston, Texas and every Houstonian will warn you to never shop for an automobile on Jensen Drive, they be crooked as snakes!

You cannot live a successful life without judging the fruits of the people you chose to deal with. Neither can you ever obey the command of the Great Commission, found in the last three verses of the last chapter of Matthew without judgment. Every Sunday Morning you are seated in the middle of a white to harvest field of unrepentant sinners. And you must get to know them to help them and to help them you must judge the fruit of every one of them.

This is a short lesson but it has eternal bearing on every lost man and woman.​

Jesus said it is a mans words which defile him, for a mans words reflect what is in his heart. i think people miss the important of studying there Bible and know in well so they can know Jesus judgement He gave us, so we may know a persons fruit.

If we compare everyone with Gods word we see clear, and they are not our judgement but those God has laid out. All judgement that need to be made God has already given us, we Just have to know His Word.

As Christians is very important our speech reflect Jesus in our hearts, no swearing and slander and such.

Good morning brother. I have a pastor that is in his mid-thirties and the first time he and I engaged in an iron sharpening iron conversation I floored him and caused the conversation to be delay a couplw of weeks while he studied, meditated and prayed over the matter.

He has a teachers certificate from college and he graduated seminary while I made the Eighth Grade before I joined the Army at 17 and earned my GED to qualify for Aviation School. I have since taken a couple of college courses, Computer mostly, and I hit him right between the eyes. I "instructed" him that the Bible is the book Jesus taught from, the first 39 books of the Christian Bible, and the remaining 27 are the only God Ordained and God inspired Life Application Commentary ever made available.

He has, after his consult with God, come to agree with the old, uneducated, rascal but I just threw him for a loop when I told him the Holy Spirit had revealed this truth to me. And the only place I have ever failed to reach a reasonable resolution on this issue is on the WWW. People hide behind their keyboards and are intentionally dishonest on web sites, including Christian Forums making it a critical that we judge the fruits today and yet the misuse of Matthew 7:1 inside and outside the Church.

This is especially true in the case of the homosexual movement. We have a, far to well known, Homosexual Baptist Church here in Texas and among these degenerates, this is a very popular position and use of this verse. But if one is to do as they wish, he or she has become, at the very best, a disobedient servant and has given all his possible crowns away, leaving them nothing to cast to the feet of our LORD on that day.

Good for you i too Got my GED at 17 and have had number of college classes through out the years. I was really kicked out of school in the 6 grade, I was placed in one class and kept in the same text books for the most part until 10th grade where they kicked me out for Good. i was not permitted to take regular classes. The wises man i ever new was a china man who taught hand to hand. I don't think he made it through high school and no college.

The homosexual movement is just one of many movements in open rebellion against God. They are making them selves enemies of God because God shine light on their sins, and they love the dark. Atheist is another movement.
But we are commanded to love these people and even serve them as Jesus came to serve others not be served.

I am seeing more and more my battle is not on calling people on their sins but Loving them as my self. We must remember people are always watching, I forget this often but God is Gracious he gives me time and brings me back around.

The biggest problem I see is to many in the church are fast to condemn and slow to forgive, fast to attack but slow to welcome others. Paul said we are to be of one mind, how can the church be rapture if we are all of different minds? At some point we must unite and agree on doctrine and become one mind, I believe that will happen soon through mass persecution of Christians we will become one as before has been the case in history.

The only thing that matters is love, it was by love and grace we are saved. God Is Love 1 john 4:8

bill also what you comment about people being anonymous on here. I think people show who they really are when they can be anonymous because they think they will never answer for their actions, but they will. Me i am the same online as in person, met my wife online when we met she said your the same guy, she thought I would be different off the computer, but i have another reason for not posting who i am. There are crazy people in the world and i have been stalked by different people, but they never new who I was, however my friends i speak to for some time know my name and who i am.

Two verses of truth I have often kept before me are sound and profitable, and even go together quite properly: one should take "all the counsel of God" as the Apostle Paul held (Acts 20:27), and be "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" (2 Tim. 2:15). These thoughts would help sincere Christians do well in their understandings of the mind of God, I believe.

I was told by God, Himself, that He existed after the November Rocket and Mortar attack on The Golf Course at An Khe and I ran from Him fr the next 23+ years. When I surrendered Jan. 1,1990, the two verses you quote here drove my study and continues to do so.
