The true God no one can deny

Put yourself in a hypothetical frame of mine for just a moment
Imagine what humans would be like 2,000 years from today
Imagine we now travel the stars seeing what there is to see
Imagine we travel thru a galaxy and see a lifeless planet

A planet with air
A planet with water
A planet with mountains
A planet with valleys
A planet with no life to be found

You decide to put some life where none could be seen
A seed to grow into a future un seen
Imagine 1,000 years later you return
Imagine you see life much like your own

What do you do?

Whisper some advice into their ear?
Give them a helping hand?
Imagine what you see is not what you intended it to be
God, if you hear me, we deserve a second chance
Wipe the slate clean?
Start it all over again?
He is back deciding our future

What do we do--?

I do not see the point you are wanting to make. I can imagine the planet. But the possible responses to the question of what I was going to do I can't follow. Give helping hand, yes. Imagine it is not what I intended it to be...why would I do that? God if...Am I praying for a second chance for me to redo the planet? Possible wipe slate and start over, they would be one option.

Wouldn't, back deciding our future, be what they are thinking not what I would be thinking?

I don't know if, what would we do, means the people on the planet and me, or you the poster, writer or possible others would do.

The "you" is the alien
The "we" is us
& the answer is--
Ask the Lord for forgiveness; for our past sins
:)-
Still not following what you are getting at. I thought all, past, present, future, were forgiven in a one time event. Confused

Hebrews 10:10-12 (KJV)
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

I don’t believe Jesus cleansed our sins when He died on the cross. People who believe this do so because they believe this would excuse their sinful ways;

At the time of Jesus’s death, He was preaching the Old Testament; although at the time there was only one Bible. That bible (Old Testament), was primarily a one way conversation between the Israelite people and God. God chose them to be the example for all to follow and in doing so peace and fellowship would prevail. Sadly, the Israelite people did not follow His teachings and instead broke every commandment given to them and this is what Jesus was teaching. Jesus was teaching the Israelite failings and for this the local Rabbi’s convinced the Romans that if they crucified Jesus, the locals would kneel to the Romans and so, it was done.

This is just how I see it, you may see it differently

Hi chuckpeterson

I agree with you that people could justify eating, drinking, and DOING Mary… That's looking at from the perspective of what the people are doing then and now.

It seems to me, that the High Priest, in the OT, on the Day of Atonement and the reference to the Priest in Hebrews, are getting the job done, in regard to sin, in spite of what the people are doing.

There is this verse in Romans, that seems to be saying while we are enemies this is happening...
Romans 5:10-11 (KJV)

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Atonement seems to relate in OT and Hebrews. It seems to be true no matter how much of an enemy or sinner we are or were What do you think about my reasoning? I could be confused,
so my logic might not be so great.

God bless
JP

If God were to whisper in their eyes I believe one simple sentence would say it all,
'Look to Me and it will ALL make sense.'
