The trouble with "reason."

Not everything that goes by the name reason is reasonable. It's hardly unheard of for two people to look at the same evidence, come to very different conclusions, and both assert that they came to their respective conclusions by reason.

In reality, most of what we call reason is rationalization of prejudice. When someone says, " reason tells me X," do not take him at his word.

Reason is good, but "reason" is just a word. Never take "reason" for reason.

I agree with you ; reason should be based on good evidence for something . How reasonable do you believe it is to have a personal intelligent theistic Creator exist even though you have not seen such , yet you have seen and are aware of the reality we have which includes the highly personal / intelligence / messages which can only come from a Messenger (as in the DNA molecule) / and razor edge precise design to accomplish a certain outcome which always infers a personal Designer ? Do you envision our reality as I have described it (?) . Thanks.
