Homie said:You argue well GJG. So, in your opinion, is it ok to pray to Jesus? Or should we adress our prayers to "God"?
Thanks for the reply dude,
As far as the name of Jesus goes, that is the only name that we must be saved by: Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.
So I think that perhaps when we pray, we can use any one of God's titles: Mighty God, Jehova, God, Heavenly Father...etc, due to the simple fact that those who are sealed with His Holy Ghost, know who their shepherd is, and He knows His flock also. John 10:14 I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.
As long as we complete our prayer with "In the name of Jesus" I think that the titles are ok. He who is in us, knows our thoughts before we even speak it!
Look forward to others thoughts on the subject
