I talked to the Mormon missionarys about this. On line they (mormons) say: "7. Adam and Eve’s act of eating the forbidden fruit was not a sin, but was a noble deed that was necessary for the blessing of the human race." Mormon Belief: The Doctrine of the LDS Church As far as the rabbi, that was on youtube and the video is worth listening to.

I think you'll find a few oddballs in any religion or denomination.

They say we are a part of the problem or a part of the cure. Our job then here on earth is to be a part of the cure or the restoration of creation.
Which would mean obeying the commandments of the Lord.

why would you trust Hebrew believers
It is not that I trust them. They do tend to have a better understanding of the Hebrew Language and there is the oral tradition. In this case though they are not really trying to examine the language. They are asking what makes sense? Would God do this or would God do that. They are not going so much by what God showed Moses.

We read about two trees in the garden of Eden. After Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge then they were banned from the garden least they eat of tree of life and live forever in the condition they were in.

Usually we hear that Adam and Eve sinned and so Jesus had to go to Calvary to pay the price for that sin. Yet there are people, esp the Hebrew people that believe creation was already in a fallen condition and Adam made a choice to become a part of that so that he could become a part of the cure. 1Peter4:13 "But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed."

Either way they made a choice so I am not sure where calvinists say God predestine them and they had no choice. Still I think we need a lot better understanding of what was going on in Eden and just what the knowledge of good and evil has to do with the tree of life.
The best way I understand is that creation is and in opposition to each other. Simply put, you can’t have one without the other.

Good cannot exist without evil existing too
Same goes for
Black v white
Light v dark
Left v right
Up v down
Inward v outward
Straight v bent
Day v night
Rich v poor
Love v hate
Calm v storm
Positive v negative

The tree represents good and evil but remember it’s only one tree harvesting 1 fruit, but containing knowledge of both good an evil. Remember that God created it and said it was good.
Not saying evil is good because it can’t be, rather Gods goodness is glorified more so because of it, if it makes sense

God gave us free will but no doubt the very existanse of 1 also means the existence of the other. Thais is choice and it is the only way our free will can be excercised. If it weren’t then we would have never fallen in the first place.

God is the very essence of good but it is the very presence of evil that shows how good He is.
Hope this makes sense

All I see there is the fall of man, not the fall of creation.
I’d like to point out that God made everything and with everything He created He said it was good.
When Adam sinned, his punishment was that he would have to work all the days of his life by the sweat of his brow.
God cursed creation because of mans fall. Hence, if man does not take care of the earth, it will overtake us.

Example, I was watching a tv show about Fukushima in Japan. 2011 saw the nuclear disaster. Just 7 years later of nobody being there I could see the following,

Weeds overgrown houses
Rusted metal
Cracked roads
Burst pipes
Basically the whole place was either rotting away or being swamped by weeds, and all because man is not there

My point being is that God created everything good but since the fall, He has cursed it

Actually this is a lot why I got saved and dedicated my life to God. I was working on remodeling a restaurant and some of the customers use to wonder in to see our progress. One person said something about how restaurants need to be remodeled every 10 to 12 years. That really took me by surprise. I thought my work would last for 100 years and now I was told that in 10 years it would all need to be tore out and done over again. This got me thinking and looking for something that was eternal and would last forever. What good is all the work we do in our life if in the end everything we do is going to perish? Now I am working on treasures in Heaven that will not perish and can never be lost.

That’s brilliant and I’m happy your in that state of mind with God.
It gets you thinking though that nothing we create lasts, it all falls.
Here’s another experience I had with God,

I went through a break up and living alone. My mind, although focused on God, I could not sleep at night. I was mentally tired as it was going on for months. I was also out of work for awhile but funny enough, I got a tiling job.
I remember coming home at the end of the week with close to a thousand euro and whilst I was looking at the wad of mo eye on the counter, I felt a peace and joy within me because I knew that night, I was going to sleep and what a sleep I had.
The next morning, the Holy Spirit showed me something remarkable
Although God curses us to work all the days of our life, there is a blessing within it because when we physically work, our body naturally tires out and we sleep better.
The best thing about that job was not the money, it was the rest and boy I am glad God showed me that.
It has really shown me to be grateful for the ability to work. Sure enough, the money is a bonus too lol.

And although the curse for woman is a very intense labour pain that no other animal expieriances, the bond between mother and child is like no other. Again, a true blessing within the curse

Explains the scripture “ God works for the good to those who love Him”

From the reading we can see that at least the “crafty beast” had already fallen. What they called the “tree of good and evil” was simply the difference between doing God’s will, the foreordained instructions given to the incarnate pair, or inserting their own little plans for world saving, instigated by the fallen beast.

The other “tree of life” would have sustained their immortality indefinitely were it not for the choice to sin. Death came specifically to Adam and Eve, death and or translation is normal for evolutionary man.

Maybe God planted Eden as a model for mankind to spread, to make the rest of the earth like Eden. It's hard to say but there must have been a reason for the contrast.
It is easy to go east and west. The problem is going north and south. Farming and civilization went from the Middle East to Europe. From the East to the West. The silk highway mostly goes east and west. It is still there if you want to travel the old ancient routes today.

Recently the air conditioner made a big difference where more people live further south because they have air conditioners to keep them cool in the summer now.
