  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi foreal and justme,

You have made my night, 2 brilliant posts.

Lets go deeper, careful reading of the scriptures tells us that only the face or head of Jesus shone, and it "did shine as the sun" (Matthew17:2) His raiment (the rest of his body was white as the light) This means that his head gave glory to his body, or the the body reflected the glory of the head. This is a symbol of Jesus the head of the church giving glory to his body the church. do you see that ?

Hi andy,

I guess that would be fitting as well, however, I just take the whiteness to represent the heavenly or Godly perspective mainly because this is added to Mark 9:
3His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them.

Nobody on this planet could launder to this standard so it is the heavenly involvement.

I have no disagreement with your idea.
