The Times we Live in and what we need to do.

Many of us realize that the times of the Gentiles ruling is coming to an end. We see them futilely attempting to form a central world government thinking they can bring peace upon the earth. However, we know man can only seek to control others either through military or economic means.

The IMF (as some say, the International Mafia Fund) predicts the world is heading for an economic collapse. As if they haven`t planned that through pumping trillions of dollars into the world`s economies. Thus, we are seeing and hearing the `Black horse` striding across the world bringing famine and great inflation in its wake.

`You will own nothing and be happy` is their catch cry, their answer to the world`s problems. The elites & technocrats think that they can sit atop the pile of humanity and God does not see.

`Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! …..You have heaped up treasure in the last days. Indeed, the wages of the labourers who mowed your field, which you kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth. ` (James 5: 1 – 4)

So, we know God will judge them, but what about us, in the Body of Christ? What do we look for?

`To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.` (Heb. 9: 28)

`And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works…..exhorting (encouraging and warning) one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.` (Heb. 10: 24 & 25)

That `Day` is the Day of the LORD, God Almighty in judgment. We are not in that Day but see it approaching. Now that Day begins when the Russian Federation, plus Iran and others come down to the Golan Heights to destroy Israel. These nations are already connecting and planning against Israel. However, it will be in God`s own timing.

`I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws, and lead you out…..I will bring you against my land…` (Ez. 38: 4 & 16)

`The Day of the LORD is coming……like the morning clouds spread over the mountains, a people come great and strong, the like of whom has never been; nor will there ever be any such after them…` (Joel 2: 1 & 2)

Thus, when we see God turning Russia away from the Ukraine and starting to come down towards Israel, then it will be our time to be `caught away` to be with the Lord.

Any thoughts?

There are no signs for the rapture it comes like in the time of Noah.

But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

That verse is not saying the believer will know when, just that the rapture will not come upon the believer with destruction like it will be to the nonbeliever. Because the nonbeliever will be left to suffer the tribulation.

The harvests are merely a series of nuclear wars that take out much of the planet. Get out of the way, or else.

The wheat is watching so it can get out of the way, or else it will get burned along with the weeds in the harvest.

You're supposed to do something, or else. The verse below describes the harvest of the weeds, but the lazy servant won't get out of the way.

Matthew 25:26 “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed [harvest of the weeds].

For those who see, more will be given. For those who refuse to see, whatever they have will be taken. What do they refuse to see? That they are about to die unless they get out of the way.

Matthew 25:29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

Here is the die part.

Matthew 25:30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Correction - Heb. 10: 25.

That revelation is in the gospels and the Body of Christ`s future was NOT known then. The weeds and tares refer to Israel and the nation`s future.

Again, these scriptures are for Israel and the Nations, the revelation of the Body of Christ and its future was NOT revealed until given to the Apostle Paul.

The `weeds` etc were written regarding Israel and its future. The Body of Christ revelation was NOT revealed till given to the Apostle Paul.

The Key points there are -

1. Eagerly waiting for the Lord`s return.

2. Encouraging and warning each other as we gather together more, (in 2`s and 3`s and that can be online, wherever as we are connected by the Holy Spirit and not rely on physical closeness.)

Yes, sorry it should have been Heb. 10: 25.

The author is not addressing a coming together to be raptured. But the author is encouraging believers to continue to meet together and not stop assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some,

The author is heading Jesus advice to be looking for that day (the return of Jesus and the taking away of believers). That does not mean they know when that day is coming but just that it is coming and to be looking each day for, the day. Just like verse 13 at the end of the parable The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins (about the tribulation), which verse 13 is not related to the parable about the tribulation but to the rapture

The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) – Grace Evangelical Society.
Of course, the application the Lord gives in Matt 25:13 to watchfulness (compare Matt 24:42-24, immediately before the first parable, suggesting it too deals with Church-Age believers) is directed to His listeners who would soon be in the Church-Age, and to Church-Age believers who would read Matthew’s Gospel. Matthew 25:13 is not part of the parable per se. We in the Church Age are to be watchful for He is coming like a thief in the night, with no indication of the timing (Matt 24:43).

Excellent read on the coming of The Messiah.

The gospels are to do with Israel and the nations, the Body of Christ was NOT revealed at that time.

Hebrews 10: 25 refers to the Day of the Lord, which the Body of Christ is not in. Thus, when we see it approaching as Joel 2: 2 tells then we will be gone to glory.

There are verses in the gospels that address the rapture. Why would God's greatest prophet, Jesus not be the first to address this event of His church.
