That is what I have witnessed first hand, and these behaviours are testament to the continuing rejection of Jesus and those who follow Him - by religious Jews. Surely you know it is illegal to systematically evangelise Jews in Israel.
I can see why.
Judaism today strongly denies Jesus's Lordship. Any initiative to build the third temple and reinstate animal sacrifice will be an abomination that Christians should not support.
That is your view, not mine, nor those of many Christians to whom God has not called to judge the Jews. It's already in the scriptures that they do build a third temple and sacrifice animals as they did by God's direction in the old testament. Your condemnation of it not withstanding.

All who believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture will not be on the earth to be able to protest what the Jews do. So you and those who have your views will have to protest to God Himself in heaven before His throne.

I prefer not to continue this line of disagreement so I leave all your other posts to me, unread and without reply.

Interesting response - I would greatly appreciate comment from other readers.

The coming 3rd temple will not be a temple of God, Antichrist will sit there proclaiming Himself God and likely demand worship.

Any rebuilt temple ignores the fundamentals on the indwelling Spirit, Father, Son who we are now, His home, as a temple for God to dwell in.
We who keep His Words are the temple of God. There is no longer any purpose for a physical building functioning as a temple of God for Him to dwell in as God dwells in His people.

The entire Old Covenant temple system, God declared obsolete, it has vanished, passed away.

1 Corinthians 3:17
If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

God said whoever blesses Israel He will bless, and whoever curses them He will curse.
I am skeptical of the technology-infused third temple. I've read a lot about this. I watch a lot of the one4israel testimonies where Jewish people have met Jesus in modern times. I think we ought to support Israel. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with everything they do, but I do not want my Father in heaven to curse me, for sure, and also....when Jesus comes, won't we all want to worship Him? I don't know the answers, but I support Israel.

I've read the information prior to seeing this post about the genetic markers that remain from history in the Cohen lines. Cohen means "Priest" and you have to be Jewish male, from your mother's side, with the gene to be considered. I think that is sad, some Gentiles in the bible (thinking paul) were heroes for the faith and could be a good servant to have if the temple is designed to be inhabited by our King, Jesus. I feel like these discussions are very off-point in God's timing, as He wants us to focus on how we're loving others....but we ought to debate these things, just not in a manner that separates us as His body and Bride.

Also, I'd like to point out that "Rapture" is a concept in the era of "no modern revelation" yet was taken as God-given revelation and cannot be fully supported Biblically (many discrepancies) to mine and my pastor friend's satisfaction. I've read the stuff, I've watched the stuff, my church even believes in some form of rapture, but I'd bet there are other faithful Jesus-followers, Christians, who do not support rapture theology or believe there would even be a way for non-believers to hear the gospel in end times without some Christians to say the truth to them. I don't know, just thought I'd put it out there that Rapture is not embraced by every Christian.

Hey soldier of light: I've pondered this, too. My husband said, "Americans put God in a box and visit Him on Sunday"...he's European. Okay, so...what *IS the point of a physical house of God??
Temple is a term, like hut, house, dwelling-place....the people of God are Christ's body: eyes, ears, hands, feet....and His Bride.
Why, why would Jesus, the Almighty King, need a place where all His people could gather in one mind to proclaim One Message?
Yes, you, me, we....are His temple...in Spirit. But like it or not, this world is of a physical nature and we have a physical presence as multiple bodies. Multiple spirits in multiple bodies. God in each of us. Where two or more is gathered, I am there, says God.
So gathering en masse has a purpose, though I haven't fully figured what all it is, I know God has a purpose for it. Would we like a place on this earth where we can worship and honor our King as one people? I sure would! I'm excited, going into a tiny air-conditioned building with other Texans, to hear the instruments, to read the words and sing, to pray together, to hear about the work that our body of Christ is doing in the community....how much *more so would I be excited for the whole World to have a gathering place. People of all nations, all tongues, but...
Here's a really interesting tid-bit: in the Bible it warns Christians about a "One-World Religion". The world will seek to mimick and thwart everything that Christ would endeavor to achieve/obtain...hence, when Christ intends His people to gather as One....so does the enemy seek to deceive in the same manner.
I would say, be careful: yes, we are the temple so theoretically we have no need of a meeting-place, but....where two or more are gathered in His name, HE will be there.
Give Caesar what is Caesar's. Aka whatever is the earth's system and method, leave it to the earth....be heavenly minded instead. Have a personal relationship with Jesus and ask Him what He'd like you to do! He might advise you not to support that temple....as for me and my house...Whomever blesses Israel will be blessed.
