In the crucifixion account in the Gospels we find the two robbers, in the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
But in Lukes gospel, the one robber is seen more in a positive light, whereas in the other two, he is not.
Did he have a change of mind while on the cross and this detail is omitted?
Or is this difference linked more to the intent of each particular gospel?
In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
Matthew 27:44 NIV
Let this Messiah, this king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Those crucified with him also heaped insults on him.
Mark 15:32 NIV
