The theory of relativity clearly illustrates that everything is relative. So the earth revoling around the sun, or the sun revolving around the earth are both ultimately synonymous.

Obviously, some people don't deduce physics very well.
Your answer is proven false: firstly, by the Scriptures; secondly, by the science.

This is being dealt with in this video...if you would be so kind to watch it, even from 20 minutes for just 25 minutes or so, you would discover you have based your belief system on proven false theories.

Well that's definitely not what either general or special relativity postulates.

But I suppose it's better than reading Second Temple pseudepigrapha as though it were literal and inspired Scripture and thinking that the sun orbits our obviously round planet.

I always did wonder if everything we are told about space is even true..

Sounding more and more like its not..
Not since about 400 years ago, it isn't....even though there were many who never bought into the lies against the Word, the masses have believed a great delusion.

The universe is infinitely expanding, in an infinite area, every point is the center.
That is not possible.
If you believed the Word of God is true from the beginning, then you would not even have to see the icing on the cake presented in the video link, which totally refutes your claim, with the science evidence that has been suppressed....and so on...

Darn the likes of Nicolaus Copernicus and Giordano Bruno for pulling humanity forward from the Middle Ages! Didn't they know we wanted to remain stupid in following geocentrism?!

The universe is infinitely expanding, in an infinite area, every point is the center.

I just heard last week that astronomers discovered that the farthest known galaxy in the universe is reflecting light from a galaxy beyond it.

You're welcome.

Look at the tower of Babel for example.

How is what we are doing today any different?

Nowadays humans don't want to build there way to the heavens, they want to be God straight up.

Yeah, forgive me if I don't believe what unbelieving secularists are trying to force as fact when they truly do not know themselves..

I used to play with math too, but it will only result in existentialism...

I'm not even going to bother getting into the literal/allegorical interpretations of the Babel narrative. I will say though that under that narrative, men were trying to circumvent God altogether and achieve immortality.

Studying and observing the cosmos has nothing to do with that at all, it's our natural inborn curiosity as a species. God gave us cognitive faculties, and it's an offense of the highest order to reject what those faculties tell us in favor of a grossly archaic concept of the universe.

I guess I could care less about space since coming to Christ, I started questioning all the garbage they teach as truth..

It gets better each day with Fox news claiming something outlandish that seems to only contradict what God tells us..

Talking about the age of the Universe, evolution, ect... Its all garbage..

1Ti_6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

Your loss.

Uh-huh, sure, cause God and science can't possibly be friends.

Go ahead and don your precious martyrs crown.

Umm, that might not be the prime point of the theory of relativity, but what I said is what it also dictates.
To say otherwise is to offend the nature of relativity in and of itself.

As far as the one proposing geocentrism:

People labor way too hard under religion vs science, this ridiculous dichotomy that only exists because people fail to deduce the difference between bias and fact- and bias acting as fact.

Geocentrism is extraordinarily obsolete and unneeded, taking the perceptions of others and the meaning of scripture way too far.

Since everybody else are doing their own thing here, I guess I might too, and say that the universe is not actually expanding, et all but rather man's mind is shrinking. ("The Incredible Shrinking Man"-mind).

And, if all things are relevant as one poster says, does it then mean that we can be walking on ceilings?

Thanks, and I'm enjoying this thread very much, seriously. I like these sort of discussions though I know nuttin I'm actually learning things, I'm hungry for intelligence.

Tell me about it, it's hard to fathom density of that magnitude. She's been flogging that long dead horse for a while, here's a post of hers from nigh a year ago insisting on the same trash interpretation:

No, it means that one can't determine if one were to jump and touch that ceiling, that it wasn't simply the ceiling that came to them.
Is it the energy you put in, or the lack of the energy of the ceiling that made it happen?

It's intuitively ridiculous, but nonetheless true- one cannot determine if it's energy or the lack of energy that causes interaction, because all things are relative. What is an isn't energy is just a false dichotomy- it's all energy, just two different kinds of energy.

Stephen Hawking would go and explain it as 'positive' and 'negative', with negative being what we'd normally perceive as none at all.

The earth stands still and is hollow.
I heard two women say that was the most Biblical literal interpretation.

I'm open minded and am interested in the sources of this claim so that I can research this myself, the picture doesn't explain anything. got links? Thanks

Well, actually after taking a second glance at the picture I do see the image of America in darkness, inside the left half shell. I wonder why the artist depicts this?
