The sun is 400 times bigger than the moon, it is also 400 times further away from the earth in relation to the moon..

Is this just a freak coincidence ? Or is it the work of a higher force / power ?

The atmosphere surrounding the earth protects us from the unimaginable power of the sun ????

If it is the work of a higher power / force. Who, What is behind it.?

Molecular clouds of hydrogen and dust, the raw materials from which stars are formed. These places are a bit on the chilly side, (the colder things are, the slower they move). Gravity takes hold of these molecular clouds and over periods of thousands of years they begin to condense, in short, a star is formed.
These clouds collapsing under the force of gravity heat up. The hydrogen fuses together and becomes helium, eventually igniting, and the life cycle of a star begins.

Is there a meeting point between science and religion ? Why is science seen as the enemy of religion? Surely it just explains,(if a higher force of some kind made it all happen), how that force made it all happen.. I don't understand some of the individuals in the forum who just say "God did it case closed".

The original intent of "science" was the explanation of how God did things. Because God in effect is the father of the natural world, it was reasoned that He moves in "naturally" occurring phenomena. It wasn't until those who surmised that if something could be explained it was not of God, did science break from religion.

Today, i believe that because the two sides are so wrapped up in idea that what i believe is at least partially right, and because it is different than what the other side has faith in. We believe that the other side must be wrong...

Why would the God of the universe create the whole of the natural world/universe, and yet only be regulated to the supernatural?

At the same time How can order, rules, and scientific law be born of utter chaos?

Plenty of Christians (and scientists) think just that.
