1. God, why did You save me, when You knew how often, in my sinfulness, that I would fail to glorify You in the world? (Not that I'm ungrateful though-- far from it-- just mystified! :) )

2. Why did You allow so much deep suffering for so many people on earth (and for me, personally, to lose my mother at such a young age)? (Not asked defiantly-- just truly wishing to understand.)

3. Why did You (depending on what He does in the next thirty or forty years of my life, in His will) a.) allow me to have such a desire for a Godly marriage and not bring the woman into my life who would fulfill that desire? or b.) bless me with such a wonderful, Godly wife when I was so undeserving of such a gift? :)

What is the most precious, treasured moment with God that you have had in your Christian life thus far?

Interesting questions, all. Mine would've been 'why?', 'how?' and 'when?'

What is the most precious, treasured moment with God that you have had in your Christian life thus far?

The very moment when He entered my life and led me to Him.

In what ways are you changing your life in the new year?

Mmmmm...when I came up to Oregon to live with you mom until I transferred back to a university. It was a great day knowing I'd be seeing you after abut two years had passed. *winks* Does this mean I get kudos at home now for being such a spectacular daughter?

What was the worst day of your life?

I pray for them and depending which sex they are I take the appropriate measures to brighten their day. If it's a girl I give her chocolate and we have a "weep day". If it's a guy, I bake him something and we just talk things out.

What do your friends do for you when you're down?

Depending on what I need (and also, the particular friend and his/her emotional makeup), they either a.) sit with me, listen as I talk about it, and just try to "be with me," or b). they come to my apartment and take me out to do something to try to get my mind off of how I feel.

What is your favorite music for sad times?

Oooooh...Damien Rice probably. Depressing but a good writer nonetheless.

What's your favorite music to celebrate with?

I like Damien Rice quite a bit too!

Most recently, for me,16-18th century hymns, to "celebrate" the incredible vastness of God's love and the mind-blowing fact that He actually chose to save this terrible sinner before the foundations of the world!

What is your favorite Christian book, other than the Bible?
