What are some things you want to do or achieve before you get married which would make it a lot less likely to get done with a wife or husband?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Return to school, live overseas, and travel at whim. The first will happen no matter what but it's easier to pursue without distractions. The latter two require consideration and flexibility.

I can't think of anything that I want to do that I couldn't do married or single. I do have a few things that I'd like do that I don't mind doing single. On is participating in a medical mission to Africa, especially with one of my African friends who knows the language and culture of the people we are visiting. I'd also like to buy an older fixer upper with good bones and remodel it while living in it.
