The Sims.

I haven't played The Sims 2 yet, but my concern is that Maxis updated the original game but left out too many of the features of the expansion packs. For example, there is no vacation area, no pets, none of the Superstar features, no magic, and so on. They also left out some of the jobs from Livin' Large and Unleashed. This means that if you have most or all of the expansion in The Sims, upgrading to The Sims 2 will take away most of them. Maybe it will be better when more expansions come out for the sequel, but until them, it seems almost like taking a step back.

I used to be really into the Sims for a few weeks after I got The Sims Deluxe, but then it became very mind numbing.

I love the Sims probably because it's the only game I can play lol.....I'm going to get all the expansion packs for it because I'm getting a massive upgrade done this week on my computer.

I'm looking forward to getting them

Already i made a couple who had twins (they are the spawn of evil - just never stop!) a man who was abducted by aliens and got pregnant (the baby is now a toddler) and some poor guy who got killed by a satillite when stargazing

i have no life now played it for 10 hours straight last night...

....need....help....

Wow, you got twins and aliens after only playing for a few days? I've been playing for several months, and I haven't gotten either! wow...

Oh by the way, don't worry, this obsession should wear off in a few months, and playing 10 straight hours is nothing. It's when you start playing 48 hours straight that you need to be worried...

actually im annoyed. I deleted the old families because i tend to get annoyed with the old story lines, but i didnt realise you could transfer the families to a new neighborhood . Ah well to try again.

My sister told me knowing my luck i'll end up with alien triplets . It is my intention to get a good mixture of alien/human families. I deleted the old neighborhoods and came up with my own storyline similar to strange town. I call it Area 66.
