I've been playing it since it came out.
I just forget I have it. I have all the expansions except for Seasons.
It's a pretty fun game. And it is addicting... but it is slow on my computer, and sometimes I don't have patience.

Some call it a 'girls' game, but hey I don't mind it.

It better than Sims 1, which just got repetitive after 30 minutes. But this also can get repetitive at times, I play it on occasion, but my sister enjoys it more than me.

There are lots of guys who play & love the Sims as well because they can make their own dream bachelor pad & find the perfect girl... Or play it w/ their SOs & make their dream homes. I rarely play the actual characters anymore, I just like to make the cool houses.

When I first got it, I think I played it non-stop for 2 months. Now I'll load it up on the hubby's 'puter maybe once a month in between other games. We have all the expansions up to Open For Business. The others I don't have much use for & the game runs slow enough as it is due to really needing some new computers.

I do!I've been playing non-stop all week!XD; But i've been playing the PS2 version,wish I could play the pc version but our computer is acting up!Plus I dont know what kind of video card we have.Drats. I found a code for unlimited money and man....it's awesome!I can actually build these incredible looking mansions!XD*zapped for cheating*

It's my favourite game ever! I have a medieval neighbourhood, made with about a million downloads which make my computer really slow, but it's worth it.

I waited for 5 years since sim city 4 and then EA realeases a game that is closer to the sims. Their reasoning was that that old sim city was too complex for most players. Instead they are going to make a game that requires absolutly no skill and doesnt require the player to use their brain.

I have the Sims 2 for Xbox, and I love it! It's pretty sweet because you can actually move the people around with the joystick if you want, instead of just pointing at where to go or what to do.

The aweasome thing about the computer is that the game was meant to be modified and customized by users.

The online community is awesome- tons of free software programs and mod tools for importing and exportiong. So many free downloads.
