CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well it started out in 2005 for me. I worked in a prison type place and wanted to write down my thoughts without the risk of losing the piece of paper and having one of the inmates find it. I found that by just writing down the first letter of each word, I got out what I wanted, but was able to throw it away later without worry.
I started doing it here a few years ago and then later, this thread was made. It's whatever you want to say, without risk of censoring, embarassment, whatever. Some people even use other languages, or mix in gibberish for added secrecy.

Well it depends on how cryptic it is. Just ask Miss Spaulding. I've been able to decipher in the past.@Keri, so basicly I make up stuff noone will understand?
When I do it, I throw in a couple of random letters. Sometimes.
