The Second Coming of the Lord

As a Christian who believes that we are living in the End Times, I would like to submit to your attention what can be found about it in a teaching called the New Revelation, dating from the XIX-th century, which fully supports the Christian Scriptures and is supposedly dictated by Jesus Christ Himself (a site about this can be found at www.new-revelation.ro or www.HisNewWord.org). Just, please, do not hurry to judge this extra-biblical source, as you may one day discover that in this increasingly difficult times for Christianity, this teaching could become a great support for any Bible believer, as it explains many of its mysteries and answers to all main ideological attacks coming from the skeptics, atheists or people of other faiths. In any case, it was such a support to me. Almost 12 years ago, while being a convinced anthroposophist (a theosophical denomination), the discovery of this teaching truly brought me back to the Bible and made me to fully believe and trust in it and to forever love the Lord.

I have been checking this out, and so far the teachings are generally in agreement with Scripture. The New Revelation does exalts Christ and clearly upholds His Deity.

Well, that is what I believe too... And that is the great challenge for any Christian that can accept the idea that God didn't stop speaking to humanity 2000 years ago: if these teachings speak the truth according to the Scriptures and also to each human being's conscience, then their author cannot be than the one who declares himself to be: Jesus Christ and God. And then we have in those many thousands pages of the New Revelation a direct message from Him that the world ignored for more than 150 years... One that may bring a true revival to Christianity, by answering to all the issues ever disputed by the Christian denominations or non-Christians...

If this quote from the Wikipedia article is correct, it's just another iteration of works righteousness.

The New Revelation teaches that redemption from the fallen state of the world is necessary, but unlike orthodox Christianity, which profess this redemption to come only through the blood of Jesus through his sacrificial death, the New Revelation teaches that it cannot be completed without a personal effort consisting in purification processes and works of love done by the individual.
