What does everyone think the role of a woman in marriage is?

Mine would be (in pretty basic terms):

Support
Nuturer
Heart of the family
Encouragment
Love


Actually I've never really thought about it . Think we need some guys imput on this one.

That's SO beautiful. I especially loved "guardian of my deepest secrets". Also "my partner in dance".

Tell me, (and I know I may be taking it too literally here) would you dance with other women? If yes, I suppose you wouldn't dance with them as intimately as you would with your wife? This is probably really off topic but I was just wondering.

I really have thought about this over the years. And for me, my role in marriage would be to support and love my husband in all things and to nurture our family- no matter if our family is just me and him or lots of kids.

Socially, yes. Intimately, no. The right style of dance done at the proper venue is perfectly wholesome. Close dancing, i.e. full body contact, is something that comes with a ring.
