I saw a video a while ago that showed a witch in some African Country being beaten and then burned to death by the villagers for openly cursing a little child that later died.

It was brutal. I think she had done stuff like that before and the villagers were furious.

Why would "a witch" do that in a society where they kill people for that ? An assisted suicide ? You would think there are easier ways to go ? Where is the logic ?

Do you really think "a witch" could curse your child ?

That is because we know "doing witchcraft" does not do anything and if someone wants to do some LARPing (Live Action Role Playing) while not unduly disturbing others western societies are ok with it.

Saint Cyprian and Saint Justina are Literal Martyred Saints of The Church. It's not a mythical story.

They were martyred during the persecution of Emperor Diocletian in 304 A.D.

Yeah, I am sure it was all the rage at 300 AD and nothing was added to the story since all the stories of the saints are straight biographies verified by multiple sources.
