A few weeks ago, U-Haul put out a new policy (don't recall the details) to get PF to stop using their trucks. It must be working if they've moved on to transport in the back of a rented Penske.

Armed man arrested at Nashville's 'No Kings' protest had long fascination with Nazis, mass murder

Police visited Elijah Millar's home in April following tip from FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force about his online activities, Murfreesboro police spokesperson says

Elijah Millar, 19, of Murfreesboro, was arrested Saturday after he “brandished” a handgun while clashing with a few of the thousands of protesters who attended the peaceful rally in downtown Nashville, according to the arrest warrant taken out by Metro Nashville police.

On his cap, he wore a "Dark Enlightenment" patch linked to a neo-reactionary theory that calls for ending democracy.

In December, he posted that "things are about to happen,” along with a photo that included a handgun and the book "Democracy: The God That Failed."

[Adulation of the usual suspects: Norway, Christchurch, Buffalo supermarket...]

Possible Pennsylvania Terror Plot Targeting 'No Kings' Foiled by police

When I first heard that police arrested a guy for allegedly carrying a gun illegally at the West Chester edition of the “No Kings” protest on Saturday, I didn’t think much of it. No one had accused him of brandishing a gun or threatening anyone.

First, it turns out that police didn’t find just a loaded gun on Kevin Krebs, the man at the center of this investigation. According to court documents, Krebs also had two knives, including an M9 bayonet knife. Then there was pepper spray. He also allegedly had loaded assault rifle magazines, gloves, and a ski mask. Police say they also found an AR-15 style rifle in his Ford Explorer near the protest.

And then the pipe bombs at his home...

Caroline (VA) man pleads guilty to shooting Latino men because he thought they were immigrants

On Wednesday, June 18, Douglas W. Cornett of the Ruther Glen area pleaded guilty to two counts of federal hate crimes involving attempts to kill and one count of discharging a firearm during a federal crime of violence.

[incident was 2024]

“[Cornett] then described his anger at illegal immigration ... [He] later asked the detective whether he could be ‘charged for [his] thoughts,’ and went on to explain that he fantasized about flying an Apache helicopter gunship to the border and firing on undocumented migrants traveling into the United States in order ‘to deter’ other undocumented migrants from attempting to cross the border.”

Cornett’s housemates also told detectives that he was “kind of obsessed” with cable news stories about undocumented immigrants entering the United States.

Judges who rule against Trump face ominous threats: 'Somebody is going to get killed'

The families of at least 11 judges who have ruled against Donald Trump's administration have been targeted with threats and harassment, including sinister pizza deliveries, continuing an alarming trend related to the president and his legal troubles.

Authorities investigating pizzas anonymously sent to lawmakers, US Capitol Police leadership: Sources

The mysterious deliveries have authorities worried that they could be intended to send a menacing message, according to congressional sources and others familiar with the matter.

Law enforcement officials told ABC News that many public officials have been anonymously sent pizzas in recent years and that the deliveries are thought to be intended to send a potentially threatening message: letting recipients know that the sender knows where they live.

Congressman Max Miller said he was run off the road; attempted kidnapping of Memphis mayor

Republican Congressman Max Miller says that he was run off the road by a man waving a Palestinian flag in Ohio -- an incident that comes amid a heightened environment of political violence.

Elsewhere, a man accused of trespassing at the home of the Memphis, Tennessee, mayor has been charged with attempted kidnapping and stalking, according to police, who said the suspect had a Taser, gloves, rope and duct tape in his vehicle at the time of his arrest.

--

ETA: the road rager was arrested.

In a 911 call released by the Rocky River Police Department, Miller can be heard saying, "My name is Congressman Max Miller. I was just driving to work, and I was cut off by a man in a Tesla who held up a Palestinian flag to me and then rolled down his window and said that 'I'm going to cut your throat and your daughters.'"

Ah, figures. Tesla driver.

Yep. If he had succeeded we would hear about how he was a Republican Trump supporter somehow

I mean, we really don't know anything (I don't, anyway) about how the perp voted. There's no reason it couldn't turn out that way.

Muslims who voted for Trump upset by his pro-Israel cabinet picks

“Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others,” says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Muslims for Trump. Muslim support for Trump helped him win Michigan and may have factored into other swing state wins, strategists believe.

Only Muslims support Palestinians?
The point was more that the Trump campaign was reaching out (with some success) to Democrats and independents (yes, particularly in the Muslim communities in Michigan) who felt that the Biden Administration was too pro-Israel in Gaza. So a pro-Palestinian voter might have voted for Trump specifically on that issue.

DOJ charges counterprotestor arrested with firearm at Nashville 'No Kings' protest

Elijah Millar faces up to 15 years in prison.

According to prosecutors, Millar, dressed in all-black clothing and wearing a mask, confronted demonstrators at a "No Kings" protest near Nashville's Bicentennial Mall on June 14.

Witnesses reported that Millar spat at protesters, yelled at them, and brandished a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol before being apprehended by Metropolitan Nashville Police Department officers, the DOJ said.
