The rise in gas prices has always been part of Biden's plans

In intimate moment, Biden vows to 'end fossil fuel'

Biden denied the donor's association to the fossil fuel industry before calling the young woman "kiddo" and taking her hand. He said, "I want you to look at my eyes. I guarantee you. I guarantee you. We're going to end fossil fuel."
Joe Biden: "We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels" - Americans for Tax Reform

“That’s okay, these guys are okay, they want to do the same thing that I want to do, they want to phase out fossil fuels and we’re going to phase out fossil fuels.”

Biden’s hostility to energy industry workers is nothing new, either. In December he suggested if coal miners lose their job due to his policies they should learn to code.

Biden has also said “we should put them in jail” when talking about fossil fuel executives.

Biden also endorsed a carbon tax on the American people, which will force households to pay much higher gasoline, heating, and cooling bills.
Biden praises gas prices as part of 'incredible transition'

Out of touch as ever, President Biden celebrated record-high gas prices Monday, gushing that the pump pain was part of “an incredible transition” of the US economy away from fossil fuels.

“[When] it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels when this is over,” Biden said during a press conference in Japan following his meeting with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Biden Executive Order Can Help U.S. End Fossil Fuel Finance

President Biden’s Executive Order on Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad has put the climate crisis front and center in US foreign policy and national security discussions. It has also put a spotlight on the need to end US support and financing for fossil fuels abroad. Here are key portions of the Executive Order related to finance and my thoughts on how the Biden-Harris Administration can move forward quickly to adopt an ambitious climate finance plan in terms of limiting fossil fuel financing.

He’s following a directive as were his predecessors. You can’t have this many problems occurring simultaneously without a collective effort.

While gas is an issue I’d pay attention to the FED instead. They’re rolling the debt off the balance sheet and crashing the dollar. The collusion is more entertaining if that’s your schtick.

It’s all a lie. Some people excel in that area more than most.

We need to diversify our energy sources. As we can see, depending almost solely on oil for transportation has lacy us victim to extreme price increases. It’s not wise to be so oil dependent.

So rising gas prices are a feature after all, and not a bug. Surprise, surprise, surprise.

But Biden blamed the Russian invasion of Ukraine for the gas price increase. I feel manipulated.

I predict that as technology shifts away from fossil fuels and towards "renewable" energy, wars will be fought over rare earth minerals and away from oil. China already has the world under their thumb because of their dominance in computer chip manufacturing. There just isn't enough lithium, cobalt, and....well, just as I was searching for a third rare earth mineral to add, I found an article saying exactly what I just predicted. What a coincidence.

The fight for rare Earth minerals

So we have a choice, destroy the planet with fossil fuels, or destroy the planet by strip mining the snot out of it?

And we have not even discussed the manufacturing of and disposal of all these 'renewable' energy products and the environmental harm that they will cause. Surely organizations have done an environmental impact study on these activities?.....and I do mean a governmental independent study not a political partisan study.....I mean these studies seem to be required for most other large scale projects.

I did a study on this in college and found that the whole process of mining the minerals, manufacturing the batteries, and disposing old batteries, creates more toxic waste and greenhouse gases than traditional fossil fuel.

That wouldn't be the least bit surprising. Maybe the uber progressives expect most of this to be done in foreign countries so there is no NIMBY.

It is far more important to the United States to be energy independent, which the U.S. did under President Trump. When the technology makes other sources of energy competitive for transportation, by all means diversify.

It is obvious that those driving the agenda are not legitimately motivated by reducing greenhouse gases, Joe's attack on American fossil fuel means more oil that is not subjected to strict U.S. production standards which means the acceleration of global warming. Combined with your study it is an environmental disaster. We need to stop the Democrats' agenda and put in people who care about conservation and the future of the world.

For someone trying to "crash the dollar" he's doing a p-poor job of it since it has gained in strength during his time in the presidency...

We can start now. It will take time to make an impact on the oil monopoly.

The XL pipeline was for Canadian tar sands, not American oil or gas. How do you think that affected the US?

As for blaming the Russian sanctions and the Ukraine invasion, isn't it odd that countries around the world are making the same blames and experiencing even higher prices and worse shortages? How do you explain that?

You do understand the concept of a world wide commodity, right?

Uhhhhhh, maybe because we actually have lower taxes and a good amount of oil pumping/refining/distribution capacity here and they don't?.......just a guess......

Nope, but he could sure add more oil to the commodity bucket.....you know more supply available?......supply and demand curve (econ 101).
