Who is going to go see The Ring 2? I know I will be there the opening night baby!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I never even saw The Ring. I'm not into scary movies so I'll probably watch it on the airplane! lol

anybody get the "The Ring" 2-DVD set? very cool. the 2nd disc has alot of info. about the ring 2. definetly worth watching. just not in the dark

I liked the first eccept the ending, so I will either rent it, see it at a freinds house, or go to it in the dollar theaters or after awhile.

Hideo Nakata, the director who directed the original Japanese version of The Ring called Ringu, directed this sequel to the American remake. Nakata is a great director in Japan, so this could be a great film.

Hey has anyone else noticed that it isn't as scary on DVD as it was in the movies? I thought it was just me, but everyone that I know said the same thing. I am not sure if it is because of the dark ,and stero system of the the theater.

It's because you're at a theater with other screamish people.
So it's more fun and scary that way.

so true, and yes I do think it is less scary the more times you see it. Possible spoiler if you haven't seen the first Ring movie
It was so funny because (not on purpose) we took pictures earlier that day, and then we were afraid to pick them up and look at them when they were ready

that's nothing. after i "saw the Ring" (hehehe...) i was afraid to look in a mirror for weeks, ad afraid of going to sleep. and that was just the first time.

I dont like scary movies, but I always will watch them. I guess it's because when I was a kid I loved them so now I feel like I have a obligation to watch the new one's. ????
