  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Ring 2

The Ring 2: when will you see it?

  • The opening night, baby!!!

  • I'll buy my tickets later.

  • I'll rent it.

  • I might watch it on an airplane.

The first one was awesome but this sequel has nothing to base itself off of like the original...so I'm not too sure about it. I think i'll wait to see what people say before I go see it.

There is a big thing to base it off the first: the cycle. One person makes a copy of the movie and shows it to another person. Then they make a copy, and it repeats. If the cycle breaks, well, uh oh. However, the bases of this movie looks like Samara (Ring girl, as commonly referred as) wants to possess Naomi Watts' son. :p

The Ring trilogy is based off the Japanese Ringu trilogy.:)

I know I am going to see it opening night.

Hey has anyone else noticed that it isn't as scary on DVD as it was in the movies? I thought it was just me, but everyone that I know said the same thing. I am not sure if it is because of the dark ,and stero system of the the theater.

It's because you're at a theater with other screamish people. :) So it's more fun and scary that way.

:D so true, and yes I do think it is less scary the more times you see it.

Possible spoiler if you haven't seen the first Ring movie

It was so funny because (not on purpose) we took pictures earlier that day, and then we were afraid to pick them up and look at them when they were ready
 of course they were fine :p
