Ok. I am calling it. Nihilist Virus is a simple troll. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt but it is truly obvious. Over half of the threads he posted have been closed due to numerous violations and he does not respond to any information given to him. I hope the moderators are working on this issue. I am obviously going to make a report but I am only making this statement to make sure everyone is aware so nobody is wasting their time. Thank you all.

Evolution is hard for me to prove if you don't look up the facts I'm providing. I'll give you a brief summary:

Virus burrows into an animal's DNA to allow itself to be copied. For some reason (remember, the virus doesn't exactly have a brain), the virus does not initiate the next step after it is copied. It is now a permanent part of that cell's DNA. Suppose this cell is a gamete (sperm or egg cell). Suppose further that this gamete is used in reproduction. Then the offspring has the signature of this virus in every cell of its body; i.e., the virus' DNA is now stained onto the animal's DNA. We call this a marker. Eventually, we use these markers to identify common ancestry. If you reject this, you're not fit to serve on a jury.

Can I also assume you believe in a young earth? As in under 10,000 years? I love engaging in people like this. Can you explain why we see stars that are billions of lightyears away? Can you explain how over a thousand trillion trillion stars can fit into a sphere of radius 10,000 lightyears? Can you explain cosmic background radiation, the redshift of all galaxies in the universe with the exception of Andromeda, etc?

Also I find this to be interesting. Languages are commonly agreed to have common ancestry, right? You agree that the dialects of Chinese have the same common root, and that if you go back further they have the same common root with Japanese? You agree that English and Spanish, etc, have a common ancestor?

But you can't. The Bible clearly lays out how different languages came about in the story of the Tower of Babel.

Suppose this is all true. Suppose that's how Jesus' resurrected body works. HOW WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT BACK THEN? How were they supposed to know how it worked when they had never seen a resurrection before? Again, why no investigation of this monumental, earth shattering claim?

First of all I have posted questions to you about comments you made that support my “slant” on your position of which you have no answer to give. Secondly, your argument is flimsy at best. Making the comment “The complete lack of an investigation for a miraculous event is in fact evidence that no miracle occurred in the first place.” is in fact a fallacy. You insert your own unsubstantiated opinion and call it fact. You calling it a fact does not make it so. Thirdly you split hairs once you found out that the answer is, in fact, recorded in Matthew.

There were guards posted by the “skeptics” who also sealed the sepulcher for the very reason to prevent someone access to remove Jesus’s body and announce that Jesus had risen from the dead. The guards remained there up to and just after the sepulcher was opened. Matthew 28:11 says “some of the watch“ went to report to the priest indicating that some must have stayed behind. If all you have is your opinion that because the priest didn’t investigate the sepulcher themselves or send someone after the guards made their report then it must not have happened, you have absolutely nothing to base this flimsy opinion on. This is why you refuse to answer my questions.

It is a fact that no investigation is presented in the gospels. That is the only fact I'm citing. And it IS evidence that no miracle occurred. I'm not saying it's proof. It's a weight on the scales.

I asked why no one went to VISIT the EMPTY tomb AFTER Easter Sunday. The guards you describe DID NOT visit the EMPTY tomb; they left and did not come back. They told their story to the pharisees who did not go investigate, nor did they send anyone to investigate. WHY?
