Well, we don't know that this is historical. Part of me thinks it likely to have been pious story telling rather than history recorded. I don't think we'll ever actually know though.

No---You will never know---we do!

Many historians think that Jesus was buried. I can see the argument one way or the other and simply remain unconvinced both ways.
But the part of you that refuses to allow you to conclude Jesus was buried should be much stronger than the part of you that refuses to admit that Jesus resurrected.

Much stronger.

If it isn't ... well ... there's a problem here.

A big one.

If by problem, you mean that the Jesus narrative is best described as a dying / rising mythotype, then yes, you have a problem if you actually believe this as literal history.

Why would I describe it as a "dying/rising mythotype," if I "actually believe [it] as literal history"?

It means you should shoulder the burden of your actions, rather than expect another to provide expiation for you "sins."
I don't have the keys to get out of Hell, once I go there for expiation.

Jesus does.

Revelation 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

We've already established Jesus was a mythotype character. As such, it follows there is no hell, sin, or life after death. Which means you're free to live a good life, because it's the right thing to do, not because you think someone else says you do.

You're in for an awful surprise! And you'll be saying more than "oooops!" But I do hope you understand that no one, either God or the saved, will take any joy in what will happen to you. All we'll be able to say is---"We tried." By all means, enjoy your life on this earth---for it is all you will ever have.

Of course, every person has to live good life. Of course it is the right thing to do. God wants every person to live good life.

I am cross-examining the GOSPELS. Why is there no account of an antagonist visiting the tomb in the gospels?

More importantly, why is there no account of an antagonist visiting the tomb outside the gospels?

I see four possibilities if an "antagonist" visited the tomb:

1. He'd find it empty and cease being antagonistic, and record something akin to the gospel accounts;
2. He'd find it empty and record nothing at all because it was adverse to his interest;
3. He'd find it empty and try to lie about it (which if happened was not successful, presumably because the lie was not believable); or
4. He'd find it not empty, in which case we should have at least one mention of that somewhere, but we don't.

So your answer to the question of why there was no investigation is that they tried to cover it up? Fine, that covers the antagonists. But what about those neutral and sympathetic to Christ? Again, he apparently committed more miracles than the entire library of the world could hold, so why did NOBODY care that he had apparently risen from the dead?

And this was the answer:
Everybody rejoiced He had risen from the grave--the apostles knew, Mary was there and say the empty tomb--so did the other apostles, Why would they be looking for a dead body when they had the live one in front of them? Remember, the tomb was sealed with a huge rock in front of it and required several people to move it--that had been rolled away and the tomb was empty. It was easy to see it was empty. Everyone from then on has cared very much that He has risen from the grave!

You answer with this:

Please re-read the OP, you seem to be confused on the point of discussion.

Look--if you do not want an answer to your question----then don't bother to ask it!!
