The repose of my grandfather

It's been sometime since I have been on here, but I felt like this would be a good place to turn to. Please pray for the repose of my grandfather Dorsey Lee Schumpert. He died Thurs. Jan 26, and I got the call not too long after 5 pm. I'm the only one in my family that is Orthodox, and so remember me in your prayers as well that in the midst of this, God would let the treasures of our faith shine. The rest of my family members are from various groups within Protestantism. I hope through this, the family sees why I love the Orthodox Church.

Thanks everyone. It means a lot. Just remember him in your prayers. The biggest comfort came last night while praying the Akathist for the departed, and I plan to do them again on the 3rd, 9th, and 40th days of his repose. There were a couple of parts that were hard to get through, but by the grace of God I made it.
