From a personal perspective, Job could have bit his tongue, kept it all inside, and went insane. Sure Job grieved in a less than "perfect" way, but that's life, and God is merciful. The only point I'm trying to make is that having patience will not get anyone anywhere w/o going to God about it. Job exhibited boldness in going to God with his grievances and He received grace. He had a poor quality of friends surrounding him and still lost everything his talents had accomplished for him, but in placing it all in God's hands Job became richest in spiritual things that surpassed what he previously had. Stripped of all basic human rights Job still clung to God.
Except that isn't not what happened at all. Job did turn against God which is the sin Job eventually repented of. Has anyone even read the book?
So your saying that if Job had bit his tongue, kept it all inside and not even had a thought toward God ( which is the equivalent to what Jesus said abt being accountable for our thoughts) but only patiently suffered in self-pity; that God still would have been there for Job w/o Job communicating his feelings toward God.From a personal perspective, Job could have bit his tongue, kept it all inside, and went insane. How would we subdue those living from the cunning animal nature of the human psyche? The story isn't about one's ability to "cling to God in all matters & situations", and I don't think God commits or permits evil per se especially since the word "good" comes from the etymology of "God".
Evil occurs when individuals are spiritually dead inside (emotionally dead). They see their own feelings before everyone else's, if they see anyone's at all; they then begin to redirect and manipulate others, reinvent justice and proverbs to their liking, and acting selfishly (very often under the guise of goodness).
Covert narcissism is the archetype of the allegory of Lucifer; it is the collection of all people on the planet who create their own emotions rather than co-creating. They invent feelings for personal pleasure & gain; they are mind-body beings instead of mind-body-spirit, but because the spirit is intangible many people fall for all the antics & displays.
God does not commit or allow evil, but Christ is specifically the collective force of all goodness (humans who have empathic senses). Instead of being connected through the senses of separation (sight, sound, etc.), love connects us inwardly through empathy (the ability to feel each other's experience instead of merely perceiving it). The collective empathic superconscious force that many reason to call "the church" is God alive on this planet. He cannot do anything we do not allow Him to do.
If we do not fight, stand, and reason for justice it will not be created.
Similarly, mind-body creatures are a product of nature, and if we do not grow to collectively understand the need to subdue those living from the cunning animal nature of the human psyche (and we are dangerous predators at the top of the food chain)—then evil can, and will, manifest itself in endless forms. This is not God allowing it: God can only do what we allow Him to do, and we must manifest God's will through our own choices.
In the same way that the cells in your body must respond in obedience to your impulses in order for you to walk, move, breathe, act, digest, pay attention, and live: The collective empathic beings on this planet must re-enact God's will and manifest goodness & protection, or else the Spirit is paralyzed.
my son has also learned to cope with his Tourette's. It isn't a vocal tic but more a hand flapping which he does at home. He keeps himself on check until he comes home. He has had this tic for all his life it seems. Others manifest fhemsflves now and then but this hand flapping had never left him. He used to do it when young outwardly and because children are children it was just accepted. It was my recently he wanted
To see a neurologist to consider medication but the doctor saw him as well adjusted because he is able to control these tics and told him that he didn't need medication. I think he is trying to change who he is as the obstacle that is holding him back.
No I'm saying if Job kept all that pain inside he would have gone insane, most likely. So your saying that if Job had bit his tongue, kept it all inside and not even had a thought toward God ( which is the equivalent to what Jesus said abt being accountable for our thoughts) but only patiently suffered in self-pity; that God still would have been there for Job w/o Job communicating his feelings toward God.
I often am concerned about how I would be if things very hard and tragic happened to me or to ones who are special to me. But we can trust God to make us more real and strong in His love, and to prepare us for whatever He knows will come.I love job's humanity BC if God stripped us of our jobs, kids( dead) and plagued us with illness we would like to think we'd praise God like David but more than likely we'd question like job...evennif we dont verbalize it...We'd question in our heart...
he never cared about it until the past year or two. We as young parents were more concerned about how his peers would treat him and we tried applied behavioral therapy which didn't work. It was actually his way of navigating his new world and any new experience he would intently "tic" and process in his photographic mindI know somebody you has that same issue. I always thought their tic was just the way they were, I never knew it was tourettes until I was told. I use to watch them, not really thinking anything about it, and they would ask me what I was looking at. I never thought anything bad about it, to me it was just part of their personality, but I think, looking back on it now, that they probably had a psychological complex issue with it. I have psychological complex issues about things too. (if I'm using that term properly)
He needed a sounding board but his "friends" turned out to know less than he didNo I'm saying if Job kept all that pain inside he would have gone insane, most likely.
Prophets and prophetic words were for our well being. Not for our downfallAmos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
How is this understood?
SpeculationNo I'm saying if Job kept all that pain inside he would have gone insane, most likely.

Our good FatherI agree. I believe in having a relationship with God. I believe in being honest with God, and sharing our pain, anger, fear, anxiety and everything with him, because he already knows everything about us anyway, its not like we can hide anything. I believe this is what God wants. He wants to be seen as a real person, not just a idol, if you will.
So you wish to defend the unbeliever who trashed the word of god and implied it is a mythical fairytale ? ..i think that spirit that came in and did so did it to get beluevers fighting...thats what unbelief does..breeds strife and rebellion.I am sorry, but I think you are out of order. I don't take that at all. I think you owe an apology.
