I haven't been watching it, but my roomate has. Has anyone noticed how much they've been focusing on the gay guy? Do they always do this? What else is this show about?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know there's another post going about this, but I wanted to respond to what you had to say here. I have been watching the Real World since season 3. I was appalled by last night's episode, and basically this season so far. Oh, and by the way before I hear it - I have no problem with shows that have gays in them (I watch Queer Eye religiously) I just don't need to see the physical stuff.

That's what I was thinking. Is MTV pushing an agenda? Of course, the show was follwed by Drew Barrymore (sp?) crying about being rejected in the political world.

Again, my roomate had it on so I didn't quite have a chocie. Drew went and interviewed all the primary delegates and just couldn't understand the political process so she ended up crying.

Do you get offended by all the heterosexual relationships on the real world? They show heterosexual sex and naked couples in the shower all the time. They didn't go any further with Willie and his partner anymore than they would with a heterosexual couple or fling.

The Real World has turned into nothing but a "hooking-up" and getting drunk show. I would say the people on the show were being exploited for ratings, but it is their choice to go on the show, and it is their choice to do the foolish things they do no national TV. I cant believe the downward spiral The Real World has taken in 10 years.

I do find it funny that the show is NOTHING like the real world, but it's the kindof stuff people like to talk about, and as much as we claim to despise it, we're watching it, so it's working.
I guess it's like that accident on the side of the highway. We don't want to see it but we can't stop looking.

The point of my post was to say that the majority of the sex on the Real World is heterosexual. Why not make the OP about all the sex on the Real World rather than just address homosexual sex? I can't give you the exact episodes that included the naked shower scenes, but that's really beside the point.princess_ballet said:
