Ah, thanks for that dragannia. I had the bugfix installed and the bug didn't operate, that's why then. Thanks
Told you to do a clean 3.1 install dude. I think it's pretty sad that it needs a multiversion bugfix just to clean up easy stuff like that.

Muta bug is irreproduceable in SP btw, and my connection is probably too fast for it to work in MP. I'll try some time. Anyway, nothing is as bad as the atlas bug.

Do you know anything about unit scripts and FBI files, and how easy it is to overlook/correct that? Nothing like Starcraft's irreversible bugs (3rd parties cannot correct them) that stick until the cows come home and Blizzard releases yet another buggy patch. Yay.

Atlas bug? Care to explain?

Pick up enemy commander. Take him on tour of map. CTRL-D over base when tour is done.

What atlas bug? And I have seen no bigfixes out for SC except for the official patches. What if Blizzard starts neglecting SC? Who is there to fix the little and big bugs in SC?

There is no Atlas bug. If you have half a cent worth of anti-air (i.e., one or two measly Jethros) you will kill the Atlas before it reaches the Comm. Job done.

No bug. It's a cheap shot, and is sure to lower your reputation. And besides, as Noddingdog stated it is very easily defended against. The commander could even kill it, as it is swooping to pick up your commander you could order it to attack. No more problem. And if you do defend against it the enemy is screwed. You would have been pumping out units. All you have to do is attack them because all they have is a measly aircraft plant producing nothing that can defend against a Samson/Slasher horde.

Yup, if you do things like that not many people will want to play TA with you!
So? They shouldn't be possible in the first place. If I join a random game on bnet chances are (if the opponents aren't hacking, and TA can be hacked as easily as starcraft) there's no way for them to "be cheap."

Nodding... still waiting. Did you just buy the game to figure out what all the units were?

P.S. Don't bother to tell me newbie imbalances. I know it's hard to beat the zealot rush on your fifth game, but it's easy for me.

You continue to suggest Starcraft is bug-free and perfect even in the face of dragannia's nice bug list. Are you going to refute that?

No TP... I'm not that stupid. I have my sources.

Zealot rush? Yeah, I know about the marines/bunker defensive tactics. Treating me as a n00b won't help you.

Zeolot rush....ahh good, I mean bad, times. Sorry just used to saying good all the time. I wonder what'll it be like if TA and SC went up against each other, the Arm and Core commanders allied and all three races in SC allied....
LOL... that would be funny. "OK, I'll zealot rush him and you back me up with some marines..." AGHHH! What's that huge great big robot toting that D-Gun? How'd he get here?
(later)
OK, try the Ultralisks.. Hey, what's that massive thing with the gauss cannon arms and blue laser thing in the head? Krogoth? HOW MANY HIT POINTS? (SC transmission lost)

The bug list consisted of a bug I could not reproduce, probably because my connection is too good, possibly because it does not exist.

That's one way to handle it, probably about the worst way.

What about the bugs that don't need so much speed? Eg

Zergling to Mutalisk Bug

Extremely important bug discovered. This is most serious among the
bugs ever founded. All units & structures can morp into Lurkers and
Mutas. I'm NOT kidding and this is NOT a StarDraft patch. You can
use this bug in Multiplayer games like IPX or Battle.net. To use
this bug, you must have Hydrarisk Den(with Lurker developed) and
some hydrarisks. First, make some zerglings and set them to group
#1. Second, select one or more hydrarisks. As last, press L and
number 1 at the same time. If it is successful, Those group #1
zergling will be Cocoons(not zerg egg) and they will become Lurkers.
And if you cancel Cocoons, they will become Mutalisks. This applies
to any units and any structures. you can morp even 'Protoss Nexus'
and 'Zerg Hatchery' into Lurker and Mutalisks. More seriously, this
bug doesn't costs any resources and bug units have abilitys of
original units. For example, if you make Lurkers or Mutals with
cloaked wraiths, they can use cloaking. If you use Arbiters with
thi! s bug,the bug units makes cloaking fields for other units. If
you use observers, the bug units have full-cloaking ability and
observer's speed. If you use 'Zerg Hatchery', the bug unit have even
'Larvaes'.As I said above, This bug is NOT KIDDING. This bug is
discovered by one of Korean players, and already known to many many
Korean players. Maybe you had better avoid Zerg(or even Protoss)
players until the patch released.
