It is true, every saint, from Adam to the last righteous man, will be raptured together at the same time at the Second Coming of Christ. But "raptured" doesn't mean "snatched in a split second" like "(((POOFF)))", rather, they will be lifted up off the ground, most likely by angels, and carried up into the sky to meet Jesus in the clouds. From there, we will begin our journey on the cloud to the New Jerusalem in heaven.

This earth will be left void and desolate for 1000 years until the saints return with Christ and the New Jerusalem to hold the last judgment of the wicked. Satan and his demons will be trapped on this void, dark, and desolate earth for 1000 years with nothing to do. Then at the end of the 1000 years, all the wicked that were destroyed by the brightness of His Second Coming, and those wicked that died earthly deaths before that, will resurrect in the "second resurrection" to face the "second death". These are the nations--those resurrected nations--that Satan goes out to deceive, and convinces them to surround the Beloved City--that New Jerusalem that just came down out of heaven.

First off the rapture happens in the twinkling of an eye!!

The text doesn't say that.

1 Cor 15:51-53
15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.

It is not saying we are "cought up" in the twinkling of an eye. It says we are "changed" in the twinkling of an eye.

The point is, we will transform from our earthly bodies to our incorruptible, glorified bodies, in the twinkling of an eye. Then AFTERWARD, we are caught up into the clouds. We will not be taken off the earth until our bodies have been transformed, so that we meet the Lord in the air with new bodies.

Notice the Rapture:

Mark 13:26,27
13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

The angel's will clearly come to gather up the saints from the four winds, FROM (out of) the uttermost part of the earth, TO (Greek is "heos", meaning--up to, as far as) the uttermost part of heaven. In other words, they are gathered up from all parts of the earth into the uttermost parts of heaven, into the clouds--the sky. By the way, the Greek word for "heaven" is also used for "sky". The same Greek word is used interchangeably.

Second Coming and Rapture are the very same event. At the Second Coming, just before we are caught up by the angels, we are changed in the twinkling of an eye from our old bodies to our new bodies.

Once you understand this, then everything else concerning the Second Coming in scripture falls into place--even those texts where it says there will be no man on the earth after the Second Coming (see Jeremiah 4:23-28). But Satan will be on this wilderness earth after the Second Coming, and will not join the wicked in burial (see Isaiah 14:15-20). This desolate earth is symbolically termed the "abussos" (abyss--translated, "bottomless pit" for poetic fanciness) in Revelation chapter 20.

Who was Christ talking to in Matthew 13?

He was talking to the Disciples. They were Jews, yet in Ephesians 2:20, we are told that the apostles are the "foundation" of the Church.

The 12 apostles replaced the 12 tribes of Israel. Israel today is no longer literal Palestine. It encompasses Jews and Gentiles alike, as that Middle Partition Wall has been broken down.

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Jesus is talking to the Jewish leaders, the representatives of Israel. Because Israel, as a geopolitical nation, did not make use of the Divine Credentials given to them, the Kingdom of Israel was taken from them and given to another nation. Israel is a spiritual name. Israel was not replaced, instead, it was given to the Gentiles. 1 Peter 2:9 tells us that this "nation" was the Church.

In the Old Testament, Israel was called the "flock".

Luke 12:32 - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Notice who Jesus just gave the kingdom of Israel to. To the Apostles. And Paul declared the apostles to be the foundation of the Temple Church, with Christ being the chief cornerstone! See Ephesians 2:19-21.

It is a false teaching that has permeated modern theology that God has 2 plans to save Israel and the Church at two different time periods. It is a false doctrine. It is deceiving MILLIONS of Christians. Christianity NEVER taught this falsehood. None of the Church Fathers believed that Israel and the Church were distinct---they ALL realized that Israel was now realized in the Church.

ALL the Protestants believed that God's Church represents "Modern Israel". God's Church simply means His "congregation". In the Old Testament, Israel was called the "congregation"--they were called the "Church in the Wilderness" (Acts 7:38).

Israel's borders have now been extended, and this mass body of believers is the "Church", which represents Spiritual Israel.

Both you and I are to strive to be part of the 144,000. The 144,000 are God's saints who are still alive at the very end of time who experience the most intense scenes of the last days. The Great Multitude are the redeemed from all ages, but do not go through the Time of Trouble, because they are from ages past, who have died. They will resurrect after the wrath of God has been poured out. But the 144,000 will be protected from the wrath.

i think you confuse Israel with Judah/jews.

they are not the same.

i know some believe israel is the 10 lost tribes that have become the church .......personally i believe the 10 tribe exist today somewhere and god will gather all the children of Israel....as promised in scripture....
so do I, but today, at least some of, if not most of, those literal ancient Israelie descendants
exist as members of the Christian population.
which is how God can keep His promises to Israel, through us who believe in Christ.

jews are judah and benjamin yes ....but the 10 tribes exist.....and will be gathered....the 10 tribes and judah will be one stick....not 2 as prophecied.....and christian gentile nations will be grafted into the kingdom.....peace
yep!
my point is to show that the 144000 of Rev14 are not "unbelieving jews" or "jewish converts",
but rather Christians descsended from ancient Israel.

my bad....not jews... but... the children of israel will repopulate the nation....peace
:)

Wow. Please.

Impossible. The 144,000 are from the 12 tribes.......just like it says.

The 144,000 are God's saints who are still alive at the very end of time who experience the most intense scenes of the last days.

No, the 144,000 are the first fruits of the harvest of Israel.....Rev 14:14-16. Just like it says.

The Great Multitude are the redeemed from all ages, but do not go through the Time of Trouble, because they are from ages past, who have died.

Some of them go through the Time of Trouble because we see they come out of great tribulation..........just like it says.

They will resurrect after the wrath of God has been poured out. But the 144,000 will be protected from the wrath.

They will resurrect before the wrath of God has been poured out. That is why you see the great multitude in heaven before the seventh seal.....just like it says.

The 144,000 will be protected from wrath because they will be in heaven. They are the first fruits of the great multitude.....just like it says.

Who is teaching you this stuff? You could use a change. Try applying what it says and see what happens.
