So we've had a couple threads that are to compliment the people who post above you and I don't like posting in those all that much cuz I feel like even if I want to say something nice to someone, I end up fishing for compliments for myself, cuz the next person kind of has to compliment me lol. So this is my idea to fix that. This thread is here for you to compliment anyone you want at any time. If someone does something nice or cool, or you just want to recognize how awesome they are, feel free to sound it off here!

Keep building people up and helping them grow in Christ, you are doing a great job of keeping us on track and our eyes on Jesus.

Anyone y'all feel should have some recognition in this thread The only rule to this thread is it has to be compliments. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it here!

This is a nice idea, Kev (and if I'm not mistaken, it's been done before) but the thing is... I've found that when you pay anyone a compliment, they'll see that as an open door to giving you a compliment. You can never escape it. But, that's a good thing because while you encourage someone, they in turn encourage you. And I think that's how it should work. It's difficult for people to just accept kindness - it's in our nature to struggle with it. We always want to "pay back" the person who is generous and I think that has to do with feeling as though we owe something to someone. Human beings hate that.

Kev- my CF BFF- I love you man from the bottom of my heart, you are definately a bright spot and the fact that you've taken me at my worst and you still love me the same? No words for you. You are my brother in Christ and I am so thankful to have you. I've said it before, but you are definately one of the sweetest guys I've ever met. Please don't hate me for saying that. And I'm saving my real hugs for you.

Revived- You mister are a blessing! To be around, to encourage- you always manage to make sure we are keeping God 1st- seeking him. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and look forward to continue to fellowship with you via watchitoo!

You are right, compliments for one person usually bring returns, it's hard to just accept kindness and move on with your day. But won't stop me from trying! I just hated going to that other compliment thread because as much as I wanted to compliment some people, I didn't want to do it knowing I'm next. I'd rather we just compliment each other without having to worry about any other motivation other than we just want to say something nice to someone.

That being said, His1, dunno if you check the singles forum much, but I've really appreciated your honesty and openness with me. your growth is awesome to see and I really pray that Christ will continue to strengthen you in all you do!
