Instinct, genetically coded, is the driving force in the animal kingdom. Eating habits, sex drive, migratory patterns, nesting, hunting, predator evasion, habitats and the like, are all the result of instinct. Desire for sex, beyond the instinctual level, is limited to animals of higher intelligence.

Didnt asexual reproduction take place accoring to evolution? Thats called reproducing too and it reproduces far more offsprings than sexual reproduction.

That means organisms on this planet have the power over they anatomy and mutate accordingly to their needs. Then why cant we mutate so that our cells dont get older? Why cant we mutate so that we may never die?

Pleasure is a good incentive to reproduce. If you don't enjoy reproducing, you are less likely to be willing to invest the time and energy to reproduce (ESPECIALLY for a female, because females always invest VASTLY more time and energy reproducing than males). Asexual reproduction is "crude" reproduction, that is, it produces lots and lots of genetically identical offspring, which is good for exploiting short-lasting resources, like Aphids.

But asexual reproduction exposes the organism to environmental changes because of its low genetic variation. For example, if a disease hits a population, that population would be eradicated because there is no individuals with the right genetic variation to cope with the environmental change.

Sexual reproduction solves this problem, by encouraging genetic variation amongst the offpring population via various processes leading up to fertilization, which tranfer the genetic material of two different individuals and mix them together in the offpring. Heck, sexual reproduction is so effective that even bacteria (which normally reproduces asexually) has a similar process of gene tranfer.

Wrong. Desire is irrelevant. It is natural selection that decides which trait is an evolutionary advantage and which is not. Natural selection dictates that if you don't reproduce, you die. If you don't adapt, you die. Organisms that evolved sexual reproduction survived natural selection because it answer both evolutionary challenges.

Sexual pleasure appart from procreation would also help keep the male around thus ensuring the greater liklihood of his/her offspring making it to maturity so they could reproduce, etc.

Those organisms that have sex more create a differential reproductive advantage in their favour, hence the genes that code for the things that they do take hold and spread throughout the population. this is absolutely elementary evolutionary theory and I already explained it.

"desire for pleasure" was there first for other reasons, then the organism which came along which was "pleasurable" hence was automatically desired.
