You are currently living on God's planet, breathing his oxygen, drinking his water, socializing with his people, and enjoying his creation. He is constantly extending his generosity toward you even though you have no interest in acknowledging him.

I was asking for the evidence in favor of the claim. I have no doubt that the claim exists and that I can either believe it or not believe it. You seemed to be stating it as a fact rather than an opinion so you must have some pretty strong evidence right?

I have no evidence for you. Simply the claim itself. If you find the contents of the Bible to be unconvincing then I don't believe any amount of evidence will persuade you otherwise.

I think the question would be "If Jesus did appear before me, why would I assume that it's His desire for me to bow down and worship Him as my Lord and Master." There is no reason to assume that Jesus is so insecure.
