This is simply the claim of the Christian faith. It's for you to believe or disbelieve.
I was asking for the evidence in favor of the claim. I have no doubt that the claim exists and that I can either believe it or not believe it. You seemed to be stating it as a fact rather than an opinion so you must have some pretty strong evidence right?

I can give you five good lines of data, scientific and philosophic, that are best explained by God's existence.

Would you like to review them?

I have no evidence for you. Simply the claim itself. If you find the contents of the Bible to be unconvincing then I don't believe any amount of evidence will persuade you otherwise.

Evidence that I personally will see God face to face some time? Sure.

You ask for evidence that you know will not be given. This tells me you are not really concerned about evidence after all.

But tell me, if Christ were to appear to you now, would you fall down and worship Him as your Lord and Master and Creator and Sustainer of your life?

Why should the mere appearance of Christ resolve the matter?

If you have to ask that question, then it would not resolve anything for you.

I think the question would be "If Jesus did appear before me, why would I assume that it's His desire for me to bow down and worship Him as my Lord and Master." There is no reason to assume that Jesus is so insecure.

Jesus never prayer to Himself as God. He always pointed towards another in prayer and in His instructions on prayer.

So I tend to agree. If Jesus were to appear before us, He would want us to pray to whom He bowed down to in prayer.

Regardless, if Jesus were to appear before me, I feel my natural inclination would be to ask questions rather than grovel.

You ignore the fact that Jesus received worship, honor, and glory from everyone who came to know and understand who He was.

But that's a bad and wrong idea, apparently.

I will say that it is your choice. Whether it is bad and wrong is for you to ultimately decide.

Based on the way you have stated it, you have already decided whether it is bad or wrong for me, have you not?

Since you have already judged me, perhaps you can explain the reasoning behind your judgement?

Well that's why we ask the questions we do, but all God's representatives can do is offer platitudinous non-answers.
