I'm sure you already knew this, but no one's posted it yet, so i guess i will.
Mathematical Proof
Let x = y
...
x(y-x) = (y+x)(y-x)
x = x+y but x = y so

Problem: dividing by (y-x) which, according to:
Let x = y
0 = y-x

is dividing by zero. i love math.
