CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Glad to see you are back!
I am grateful for a new friend in my life. I've felt pretty lonely lately and she's got time on her hands and we seem to understand each other pretty well already. Trying to take it slow but be transparent. Just grateful for the ability to make friends...and to be healthy about it. I've spent years having unhealthy friendships and wrecking the ones I've had, so I'm happy that I'm getting a chance to do things right with new people...even though I greatly love and value the friends I already have.

That I blessed several children yesterday by attending a school activity..speech tournament and serving as a judge in their competition. Was blessed in return.

On Saturday something in my low back snapped and the pain was so bad I thought it was a herniated disk. However, the pain has been getting much better with rest and although I can't stand or walk for every long, it is getting better! Thankful that it is healing!
