To me, it wouldn't make any difference what happened billions of years ago. Mutiverses or non-multiverses or not. It's not going to affect life as I know it.

I think not. Scripture describes that God has already "played out" all events that we call future.
But He does give us the opportunity to trust in Him that it's all for our benefit.
Having faith is a choice we have.

Dannion Brinkley had a near death experience back in 1975....
he was shown a lot of future events....
by writing down what he was shown....
many of us learned from what he saw and changed our behaviour...

Perhaps those experiences are modern examples of
the visions given to Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, the minor prophets and
the author of Revelation......

We can learn a lot from what Dannion Brinkley saw about
the final anti-Christ.......

Then would this mean that nothing new can occur?

Would this mean that God is not allowed to use the physical creation as a stage in which we
accomplish something new?

Isn't this using the information that you have been taught about God to
NAIL God down to being limited.... and unable to do / allow / permit or organize anything new?

From our limited point of view, all the future is new.
Our challenge is to see The Fathers point of view.

Maybe The Father sees our choices in this new time line as truly new as well?

Reverend Howard Storm's Near-Death Experience

Perhaps we are in a genuinely new time line.....
learning new lessons... that we did not learn in quite the same way
in the last possible time line and maybe.... maybe.....
God loves each of us so much that God creates something
almost like clones of us.......
that live out their lives in new time lines......
Maybe.... .we will meet different versions of ourselves in heaven????

A heaven in which some people were brought to salvation... that were lost in
other time lines?

Nope.
Your life was scripted before the earth was formed.

22"The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old. 23"From everlasting I was established, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth.

That is certainly a very common belief......
I've been encouraged to think that way over the years but.....

1 Kings Chapter 19 (KJV)

1Kings 19:9

"And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?"
........

1Ki 19:13

"And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?"

Another school of thought is that we have genuine freedom of thought
and we can speed up..... or slow down... the general plan of God for the
earth through having more or less faith...... more or less obedience......

God didn't seem to want Elijah to be at Mt. Horeb at that time.....
God may have wanted something more so along the line of II Kings chapter 1
to occur..... and if it had.... .then perhaps Israel could have been returned to
God and the captivity under the cruel Assyrian Empire could have been delayed or
prevented........

many prophecies are clearly stated to be conditional upon obedience or
disobedience.

2Ki 1:10

"And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty."

I believe that what we pray makes a difference.....
and how we pray can alter the future of the earth.....

The general plan of God is worked out according to how much of the Holy Spirit is
poured out on humanity...... and on all flesh.... and our prayers can speed up the
outpouring......

Matthew 21:22

"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive."

This has nothing to do with your free will. God has known you from the beginning, including the choices you will make. If you are damned, it is not God's fault, it is your fault.

This is a common belief but some of those people who have a brush with death that
includes an out of body experience and/ or near death experience have been shown
something somewhat different:

We already know:
138 Bible verses about God, All Knowing
so we don't make the mistake of thinking otherwise
anytime God asks man a question He knows the answer to.

9 Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"

But the question remains.....
is G-d so powerful that G-d can create being that have genuine freedom of choice.......
even the freedom to make bad choices......
that they learn from in a different way than if they had made much better choices?

That's interesting. I enjoy reading near death experience recollections.

Check out many more here: nderf.org

Near death experience accounts have profoundly affected my understanding of
many scriptures over these past twenty six years since I began to study them a
great deal.

God's many plans for the Gay community???????

Poll: God's many plans for the Gay community???????

....
I am pretty sure it is over five years since I read the NDE of Mr. Christian Andreason. His NDE account has had a major impact on my life.

As a former follower of Mr. Garner Ted Armstrong and his dad Mr. Herbert Armstong I must admit that these statements put me into some serious cognitive dissonance at first!!!!??

.near-death.com/andreason.html#a11

Five or six years later on and finally I feel confident enough to go into specifics as to what I strongly suspect are a few of the actual plans that the God of Abraham, the Creator of heaven and earth has in mind for the Gay community!!!!

I'm sure they'll be glad to hear what you think are God's plans for them... "At last!", they will cry, "We have a purpose in life! Let us cease our current occupations, and go follow God's plans as told to us by some bloke on the internet..."

At least anybody who reads the discussion is glad for this statistic:

  • "I have really never considered this idea before???

This has nothing to do with your free will. God has known you from the beginning, including the choices you will make. If you are damned, it is not God's fault, it is your fault.

This is not logically consistent. If God knew what you were going to be like when he made the world, and his supposedly all powerful, then it is God's fault.

Luckily there is only very weak evidence for your God so that is not a real worry at all.

Former Atheist near death experiencer Howard Storm
came back from his NDE with the impression that we have a
panorama of choices ahead of us.

Yes, quite a few people have been fooled by that phenomenon.

You are aware that there appear to be rational explanations for NDE's, I hope.
