St Paul is guarding the gates to heaven, when Jesus comes along to see how he's doing.
Jesus: Gosh It must be tiring job getting all these people through the gates everyday
Paul: Perhaps, but it's rewarding meeting all these people from so many walks of life
Jesus: Yeah, I suppose so. Hey, how about I finish out these last few people for day, and I'll meet you for dinner tonight later.
Paul: Yeah sure mate, see you there.
So Jesus finishes the last few people for the shift, and as he begins to turn back for the day, he sees a elderly man, grey with a beard clamberling slowly in the distance
Jesus: Ah just one more for today, hi there, what was your occupation?
Old Man: Carpenter
Jesus: My father was carpenter
Old Man: Yeah, my son went onto pretty big things...wait a minute...
Jesus: Father!
Old Man: Pinocchio!
---------------------------------
Pretty lame joke, I've told it other christians including a vicar, and they found it funny, although I probably haven't told it well, but hopefully people won't take offence
