CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lord I lift up cameron in prayer and ask that You open his heart in spirit and gently speak to him to go see the movie "The Passion" with this friend. In the name of Jesus "Amen"

I think that hits home with a lot of folks. Certainly did me. I know a lot of people who are atheists or just don't care. I will keep you and he both in my prayers:Heavenly Father, Lord of All, we come to you right now in faith, knowing your desire that no man be lost. We ask that you would open Cameron's spiritually eyes, and soften his heart to the message of Christ. Work in your time Lord, and let your perfect and unquestionable will be done. Send your Holy Spirit to minister to his heart and prepare him for what is in store. Show him your glory LORD and be with him, sending him your peace. Give him a real encounter with you and lead him to the truth. In Jesus Sovereign name we ask it Father. Thank you So much for all your ways and for your constant guidance and never ending grace. We give you Praise and Honor for this thing you have done. Amen.

Oh gosh, I would love for my unsaved husband to go see this movie also...I am trying to talk him into it..he says he will watch it when it comes out on video...I will definately be praying for your friend and all others like him to go watch this and come out a brand new born again man
