  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Like the word of God even matters to you and your separation theology. You have sold the farm and bought in hook, line and sinker. The word of God has no place in your theology. Why don't we look at the other side of the coin for awhile.

How come there were so many Jews in the church to begin with. In fact the Jews were the ones who started the church. I thought there was a wall of separation and the church was only for the Gentiles? The church includes both Jew and Gentile there is no separate program. Just like there were many Gentiles who were included into Israel all throughout the OT.

Every writer of the NT worked tirelessly to tear down the walls of separation the Jews had built up to exclude the Gentiles. And the separation theologians are building them back up again. The Jews of today are required to be part of the church not go back to the old covenant and the feasts and the dead traditions of men. Christ is the savior of all men, especially of those who believe.

I know, how foolish to actually believe that Israel is blinded in part until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in..

How ridiculous is that? Actually believing the warning from the Apostle to the Gentiles..

But then again.. most here see the church of God as nothing new at all and just the same old continuation of the church in the past.

And don't worry about what that Apostle to the Gentile says about becoming wise in your own conceits.. I'm sure that can't happen to you.

Same old song and dance. Just a broken record. The old covenant is dead. All men are required to under the new covenant where faith is the determining factor in our Salvation not ethnicity.

Don't pay any attention to the make believe Israel Dunbar.. I'm sure it will go away soon enough and you can remain wise in your conceits..

It's nothing new anyway.. same ol Israel as it's always been... and remember to hold back on the bacon..

I'm not. It's just Satan setting things up for the last days. He will come as the long awaited Messiah or conquering king and the Jews will receive him with open arms. And the stupid Christians will join the party and bow down too after their Rapture ride to the stars derails.

Is that before or after the second coming in the atmosphere... or is it after the third coming after the thousand years?

And WHERE was the Lord coming to in Matthew 25.. did you answer that one?

Of course now we have the super spiritual Israel... we're so much better than the carnal Israel..

It's almost as if they don't even exist anymore...

Almost...

There is neither Jew nor Gentile in Christ. We are all a new creation. That is if you are truly born again. If you are just some carnal Christian led about by every wind of doctrine then physical Israel can seem really important.

My bible is the same as yours. Just read it and pray for God to show you the truth. You may not like the truth. It cuts deep.

Is that where you got the second coming in the atmosphere and the third coming a thousand years later..?

I was just wondering where you might think that the Lord is coming to in Matthew 25.. when He comes in His glory..

Are you familiar with that part of the bible?

Exactly, I agree.. so how in the world can the church of God (which is the body of Christ) be Israel.. if there is neither JEW or GENTILE in Christ?

How can the body of Christ be NEW if it's the same thing as Israel was in the OLD?

The only problem is that there is no scriptural support for what you just said, simply because you have already made it clear that ALL scripture has been fulfilled and that your only basis for a coming of Christ in the future is a creed.

Sad but true, and so I understand that you have no biblical basis for anything in the future.

If you don't understand that Israel makes up most,if not all of the Christian nations today who in turn are the Church, you would be able to see it.....Only two tribes returned to that tiny nation,we call Israel today....Along with that return came the basket of bad figs as well, those that call themselves Jew's,but are not,and are of satan....

Jeremiah 31:31 "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:"

Jeremiah 31:32 "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:"

Now God divorced Israel, however He will take her back,my question to you is ,will God have two wives, because as we well know, the Church is the bride...

Jeremiah 3:8 "And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also."

And if the Church is the Bride,Israel has to without a doubt,be the Church......

Clearly, the New Covenant in the Blood was cut for no other Body of God but for the Old-Testament Israel, to renew her, not to replace her with a second Body called the "Church." And certainly the New Covenant was not Provided to Old-Testament Israel to temporarily reject/suspend her in limbo until the 70th Week, but was provided to make Her alive and active immediately via the authority and teachings of the 12 Apostles.
The curtain of the Temple was torn by God at the Crucifixion, not because God had rejected sinful Israel, but because the New Covenant was then in force. If God had rejected sinful Israel, He would not have provided the Second Covenant for her. Yes, God rejected some of the Jews in sinful Israel, but he took a portion of them and provided them with the Blood. That Portion, still called the "Church" or "Elect" as in Old-Testament times, does not therefore become a second Body of God's people, but the same old sinful Body refurbished, renovated, repaired, renewed, recast, recovered, redeemed, perhaps even remodeled...but not replaced! Jesus died so that Old-Testament Israel could bloom into the Christian Church! Something has got to be markedly wrong with a theology that views Israel as being rejected and shelved at the Cross when the very essence of the Cross is a new beginning for Israel.

Pretty close N2, but I have no idea what the expression means about the Christian nations. There are the nations and there are Christians. But the new people is all who are effective in the work of the Gospel. You don't pay attention to any of Israel's tribes or any "Christian nations" existing today as such.

One must pay attention, where by one can tell where the other 10 tribes are....And if you look at the promises, one should be able to see...

The problem I see is people not understanding the true meaning of the word,gentile............

That is why I don't believe what men say.. I believe what the Lord says.. in His word.

So if you can find me anything in the word of God which clearly teaches that the Israel of the bible is most Christian nations today, as you claim.. then that would obviously be welcome..

Otherwise it's obvious that your word is no match for His..
