CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Christ took the kingdom from Israel and gave the kingdom to the Church, Matthew 21:40-44:

OT, there are too many questions to say such an unqualified thing. Modern Israel does not fit much of what was expected or defined.

Ya know, that passage from Revelation 14:15-20 is speaking of Israel's judgment in 70AD. If you will note, the angel doesn't gather the grapes from the vine, but cuts down the whole vine with its grapes and casts it into the great winepress of God and trodden outside the city like accursed criminals are condemned to death outside the city.

If a person is a literalist, this scene is a real problem, with its horses and all, but if he's just saying it is unspeakable destruction of life, then, yes, it is the DofJ

were there several vines or was the whole vineyard pressed? contrast that with firing the staff in Mt 21!
