I vote for Republicans from time to time.

Not Bush though although he almost got mine in 2000.

He wasn't even in close in 2004 though...

I'm a constitionist ...i don't trust any of them any more

Third parties in PA have a very poor showing... I think there's some rule about getting signatures to get on the ballot or something but there generally is not much of choice outside of Dem or Rep.

I'm a registered Independent and that probably best describes me...

Yeah.

If there's one thing I would like to see is some electoral reform. Not towards a Parliamentary form of government but some way to allow third parties to make a decent run...

Why not toward a Parliamentary system? It seems to me like the only successful multi-party system that has been tried.

Well, for one, I don't think it would ever make it through congress and the amendment process. Heck, we haven't even been able to change the electoral college...

I don't know what would work but I did listen to an NPR episode with a reformer pushing for a change that allowed for a better chance for third parties and serious finance reform... I can't remember all the details but it seemed like a good idea...

Hi,

If anyone has read Bishop Spong's A New Christianity for a New World, I would be appreciative if you would OP a thread on the book with [open] tags so that I may be permitted to post a few thoughts and request WWMC input.

CF rules prevent my posting new threads in Christian only fora.

Many thanks.
