I've just discovered whiskey. It's a good thing. Up with whiskey! I think I might even like it better than a nice pint of Smithwick's (which is really tough to beat).

A friend turned me on to some really good Kentucky sippin' whiskey the other day. Maker's Mark, the way bourbon should be!

What's that? Everything you've been talking about is rot gut. Maker's Mark is very good and Bourbon is exceedingly better than those blended sissy whiskies made by Irishmen and Scotsmen (though I don't want to disparage my ancestry:o)

Though Maker's Mark is the least rot-gutty of them

Rangers got bumped in the second round (Penguins), Islanders never made it.

I guess I should be drinking beer to go with my hockey, but I just can't bring myself to drink Molson and it's now too warm to drink warm English ales.

And Stumpy, I'm not sure that there are enough prayers to help the Flyers this season
