On the other hand, President Trump's base that got him elected still supports him.

So why do Democrats think they are getting anywhere with their attacks?

Edit:

In the title, where I say, "The ones who hate Trump now are the same ones who hated him before," by "before" I mean during the 2016 election campaign.

Hate is not a word in the Lord’s vocabulary. Please select a term other than “hate” if you want Him to understand you

Pulled out of context.

Rom 9:12 `The greater shall serve the less;'
Rom 9:13 according as it hath been written, `Jacob I did love, and Esau I did hate.'

Jacob is greater, Esau is less.

They represent the covenants.

You mean the quarter of Americans (at best) who actually cast a vote for him?

I suspect only about half of those voters are his actual base and the other half are simply those who either didn't want to vote for Hillary, or actually believed him when he said he would bring back jobs and not take away their healthcare.

I'll even grant that the 60 million votes he got were from honest, real Trump supporters that actually like him. Thats still nowhere near half the country. Half the country didn't even vote last election.

Actually I beg to differ: God in the Bible said "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated".

I personally never spared him even a first thought, let alone a second thought, until he started campaigning. Only then did I find out what a despicable human being he is. "Hate" is too strong a word though. I feel more distaste and disgust for his behavior. He makes me shudder with revulsion.
