The one who try to call the attention of people to oneself will end up being ornament of swine or force of prostitute (Prov 31:3)!

• “Like a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a beautiful woman who turns aside discretion.” (Pro 11:22).

One of the mistakes of people, chiefly when they are trying to find someone special to get married, is to show off their qualities. Nonetheless, think: what can destroy the home? Certainly, it is the flaws and flimsiness.

So, for those who think on marriage, start the relationship asking: “what is there in you that can make me doleful and damage our future home?”. And in counterpart, proceed at the same way.

Those who brag their good attributes, will reap corruption:

• “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap. For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.” (Gal 6:7,8).

As we well know, the wage of the sin is the death (Romans 6:23) and those who like scavenge are the dirty birds (Luke 17:37).

Therefore:

• A man that try to vaunt his qualities will end up entangled by the eulogiums of the adulteress or prostitute (Proverbs 22:14);
• A woman that turns aside discretion will end up being spouse of a swine.

Maybe you are questioning: “what kind of man is this?”.

• “For if they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the full knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and are again entangled, they have been overcome by these, their last things are worse than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have fully known the way of righteousness, than fully knowing it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But the word of the true proverb has happened to them: The dog turning to his own vomit; and, The washed sow to wallowing in the mire.” (2Pe 2:20-22).

That is to say, swine is a man that isn’t constant in Jesus’ ways. In this case, behold the sentence to the couple (after all, they are co-heirs together of the grace of life – 1Peter 3:7):

• “Now, "the Just shall live by faith. But if he draws back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him." But we are not of those withdrawing to destruction, but of those who believe to the preserving of the soul.” (Heb 10:38,39).
• “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and with no reproach, and it shall be given to him. But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed. For do not let that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord;” (Jas 1:5-7).

So, have a great week being yourself (or rather, letting Jesus be Himself in you).
