Old Married Woman
Before I was even dating my boyfriend, and we were just friends, I knew he was the one I'd love for a very, very long time - whether or not he ever reciprocated. When we finally did get together, he knew before we'd hit our first month that I was the one - he'd been in 3 other relationships (for longer periods of time) and had never felt for those girls what he felt for me. What a blessing!!! He proposed to me on Christmas Eve a couple of weeks ago, 1.5 years after beginning our relationship, so we're pretty darn certain that we've both found the one.
I know that there are a lot of people in the world who each of us could've found great compatibility with too, but the particular odds that brought us together are way too amazing to be anything but God... He was living in America and came to study in Australia, a university near my house is the only one he got into. When he got here he was introduced to the grand daughter of one of his grandmother's majong buddies, and she brought him to our church. We went to the same church for a couple of months without ever acknowledging each other, then he happened to walk into the pie store I was working at. He recognised me from church, and from there I fell head over heels. As it turns out, he'd only been planning on living here for 3 years while he studied, but instead quit his course and decided to stay.
I just figure... of all the universities in this country, of all the churches in this city, he happened to walk into mine
