Exactly. I'm kinda like...dang writers, that kinda doesn't make sense. But at the same time, it kinda does. Marissa's always been the one longing for affection and intimacy with men. When she dated Luke she had Ryan. When she dated Ryan she had Oliver. When she dated Alex she had Ryan. It seems to be a pattern, to me.

why cant Ryan and Marissa just settle down?

They have to create some sort of drama, and Ryan/Marissa seem like the most combustible. I'd rather they have Ryan/Marissa drama than Seth/Summer. Seth/Summer is a hilarious duo.

because if they did that,then they would have to change the show to a sitcom and have Adam Brody do all the lines.his occaisonally comedy is the only other reason to watch

OH MY GOSH!!! I LOVE Seth and Summer! They are the cutest, quirkiest couple! Seth was always quite a character, and he and Summer together is even funnier!!

Great episode last night.

I loved...
1. Taylor Townsend and her mother. So THAT'S why she's like that.
2. Ryan Atwood: Fists of Fury.
3. Seth saving the day, reminiscing about his capturing the flag glory.
4. Johnny being an altogether nice guy, not another Oliver clone.

Can't wait till next week.

I was really hooked but as the series went on, it got more and more stupid. I don't like watching it now, but I will from time to time. I am sick of Ryan solving everything with violence and being so protective of Marissa.

The only thing keeping the OC going is Seth. He is amazing! (Well at least his character is)
