Unfortunately. Some friends and I decided we should go to a restaurant, and when we were ordering, should ask the waitress whether or not whatever we were ordering was high carb. If it wasn't high carb, we didn't want it.

And people are getting low carbs everything now. All my friends are so PARANOID about carbs. I just tell them to eat smaller portions, because you NEED carbs. Besides... carbs are good. What is life without bread?

A loaf of bread, sliced. Slice buttered. Packet of sugar dumped on buttered slice. Mmmm.

I do not understand this low carb idea. Eating too few carbs is far more dangerous than eating too many.

Oh it's SO good! It tastes a little like a donut, but not as greasy. But I put ketchup on my grilled cheese sandwiches too, and a lot of people think that's weird.

Hmmm....ketchup on grilled cheese doesn't sound good, but I love to pile on hamburger dill pickles!! My dh likes to add Miracle Whip (which I unaffectionately refer to as "Miracle Cr*p").
I had forgotten until the other poster mentioned it, that I always loved sugar on buttered bread as a kid. Even better, sugar on buttered toast. Now THAT sounds good--makes me want to go make some, but I'm trying to cut out sugar. Splenda on toast just doens't have the same appeal.
