You mean he has repented of being a Nazi, hiding and promoting a sexual pervert, and condemning justice of sexual perverts? Well I never heard of a pope repenting but I guess there's always a first, it sure is a lot of baggage to be carrying though even for a pope, don't you think?

I guess this rule must just get thrown out when it comes to Semper-Reformanda-Reformed. Gees, I dont go into OBOB and start disagreeing - should I? And I noticed it is just not this thread but every thread that RCC is brought up in.

I do believe he was forced into the military like everybody else.

But would you please prove - He is currently involved in covering up a high level priest accused in a sexual scandal, was critical of the American press coverage of the Roman Catholic priests sexual scandals,..., and believes you can only go to heaven if you're a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Serving in the German military in WWII did not make someone a Nazi. Ratzinger served in the Air Force, and then the regular Army, which he deserted from. You could not be a member of the Nazi party and in the regular Army or Air Force. The SS units were reserved for Nazis. The German military did not want the Nazi party to have too much control over the military. Ratzinger could not have been a member of the Nazi political party and a soldier in the Air Force or regular Army.
