  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome!

**gives her a cross pendant**

Be nice to your mom; don't bite the hand that feeds you. ;)

She's a sweet daughter (really, she is! Great helper too!)

We tend to call her our holy child. The reason is probably different than what anyone thinks. ;)

She was conceived on Easter (yes, my cycle use to be that predictable that I could even tell you what time I would start, give or take an hour) and born on Christmas. My older 2 boys were 3 and 20 months. Sometimes we joke that the Easter bunny brought us the egg and Santa delivered her (a present). When we first told our boys that she was born on Christmas day, our oldest protested by saying, "Santa did not wrap her up as a present and put her under the tree!" We had a good chuckle at that one!

She is my angel, though

Yours in Christ,
Jen...proud Mama
